Get ready for Christina Lake's favorite mountain biking event. The Kettle River Cycling Association presents the 5th Annual Funduro on Sunday, September 13th, 2026.

Whether you are hitting the trails for a personal best or coming out for the good vibes, this family-friendly day features multiple rider categories to fit all ages and skill levels. We are taking Stewart Creek trails with race timing equipment provided by Beem Credit Union and Boundary Electric.

🚵‍♀️ Get ready to hit the dirt for the Upstream Downhill mountain bike race on Sunday, July 12th at 10:00 AM! Organized by the Kettle River Cycling Association for Christina Lake Homecoming Summerfest, this staged race features timed upcountry and downcountry sections on the fresh upgrades at Stewart Creek. Choose between a 5km or 10km route through the newly improved Upstream climb trail. The race is open to all abilities, but spots are strictly limited to just 50 riders. Registration is $20, with all funds going directly back into our local trails. Big thanks to Beem Credit Union and Boundary Electric for providing the event timing. Looking for fun Sunday activity? Come out and lend a hand getting our trails ready for our next race at Christina Lake! We will be meeting at Josh Strzelec adventure sports at 10am and heading up to the Stewart creek trails from there. Bring food, water, and any tools you want. See you tomorrow!

Hello racers! We had a great turnout with nearly 30 riders coming to enjoy the Fisherman Creek trails at the Kettle of Fish XC race! Thanks for bringing the stoke and shredding the gnar with us! What a great group of people! Through entry fees, we were able to raise nearly $600 to go towards rider advocacy and trail system development and stewardship. We received a helping hand with $300 from Symphony Tourism Services to help cover race costs, too! Thank you to Seasons Outdoors for refreshments and prizes and to WildWays Adventure Sports for providing prizes, too.

This race was really exciting for the KRCA since it was the 1st time we got to use the SPORTident timing system that Boundary Country Regional Chamber of Commerce helped us acquire with the finacial assistance of Beem Credit Union and Boundary Electric.
