🚨TRADE ALERT: As the completion of a previous trade made by the Summerside Western Capitals, Coen Miller has been transferred to the Amherst Ramblers. We would like to thank Coen for his time with the Rapids and wish him nothing but success in the next chapter of his hockey career.

📑RAPIDS REPORT: After four seasons with the Rapids organization, Head Coach Greg Leland and the team have mutually agreed not to renew his contract.

We would like to sincerely thank Greg for his dedication, leadership, and commitment to our organization and the Grand Falls community over the past four years.

Coach Leland shares his farewell by saying “I would like to extend my thanks and appreciation to Marc Dube, Marco Gagnon and the rest of the Grand Falls Rapids executive and organization for the privilege of coaching the Rapids for the last 4 years. Their support was unwavering and I’m grateful for the positive experience I had in Grand Falls.
I’m leaving on a high note as we were able to not only make the playoffs for the first time in the history of the franchise, but finish in first place in the North division.
With the support of the investors group, executive and the strong work of Mathieu Martin, the organization is in good hands”.

We wish him all the best in his future endeavours. Thank you, Coach!

📑COMMUNIQUÉ DES RAPIDES: Après quatre saisons avec l’organisation des Rapides, l’entraîneur-chef Greg Leland et l’équipe ont pris la décision mutuelle de ne pas renouveler son contrat.

Nous désirons remercier sincèrement Greg pour son dévouement, son leadership et son engagement envers notre organisation et la communauté de Grand-Sault au cours des quatre dernières années.

L’entraîneur Leland partage son message d’au revoir en disant: « Je tiens à remercier chaleureusement Marc Dubé, Marco Gagnon ainsi que l’ensemble de la direction et de l’organisation des Rapides de Grand-Sault pour le privilège d’avoir été entraîneur au cours des quatre dernières saisons. Leur appui a été constant et je garde un excellent souvenir de mon passage ici.
Je quitte sur une note positive, ayant contribué non seulement à la première participation de l’histoire de la concession aux séries éliminatoires, mais aussi à une première place dans la division Nord.
Avec le soutien du groupe d’investisseurs, de la direction et le travail soutenu de Mathieu Martin, l’organisation est entre bonnes mains. »
