Up until now the registrar has been lenient when riders have asked if they can give their number to a friend if they've become injured and not able to attend The Cord.
This is a lot of extra work for the registrar and a favour, as it clearly states in terms of agreement that there are no refunds or minute transfers. Then, yesterday we were made aware of someone who is selling their start number on marketplace after buying an earlier minute off a friend.
From now on, there'll be no rider substitutions or refunds. When you entered you agreed to these regulations. We apologize to those hurt or with extenuating circumstances, but it’s become an issue of liability, when swaps happen without our knowledge, waivers do not match.
In addition, every rider must bring picture ID to registration when they sign in so that we can ensure that people are riding on their registered minute. Again, very important for liability reasons, you will not be able to sign in without photo ID.
Sorry for this added inconvenience, but there's always someone who takes advantage of a courtesy and we must now deny all requests.

The tests are shaping up. I was working with Ian Peters, Mike Smith & Erik Gorasson on the Greens this weekend while Paul was with Darryl, Drew, Vinny, and Dimitri in the new Trooper Lake test. Bob Kendell, Kelly Goreski & Bill Kirby were working on MacDuff's.
Monday I will be back into the Boardwalk test with the NTR club to finish it up.
The TTR which Glenco set up to carry lots of equipment is working great as well as my EE chainsaw mount.

Here's how you build a bridge Warren's way. 3 guys in
hip waders, a 70 lb Post pounder, 4x4 posts sharpened on one end and we pound them in untill they don't go any further. Those are the footings for the bridge.

Bridge is done! This is part of a new 9km test for this year. Thanks to Mike, Vern, Paul, Chris, Rick, Bill, Darryl and engineer, foreman, boss Warren.

Got a good start on the bridge last week. Going to try to finish it up tomorrow. If anybody is available to help out that would be great. We will be meeting at the gooderham community center at 10:00 in the lumber yard at our sea cans.
