Comment “Cheat Sheet” to grab your free guide ( PS it has a place for you to write what weights you are using down) & save this for the next time you’re standing in front of your dumbbells wondering which ones to grab.
If you’re using the same dumbbells for every exercise, you might be making some movements way too hard…and others way too easy.
Your legs are big, powerful muscles. They can usually handle more weight than your shoulders can.
So instead of looking for one “perfect” pair of dumbbells, think of having a few options:
Heavier: squats, deadlifts, lunges
Moderate: rows, chest press, shoulder press
Lighter: lateral raises, front raises, rear delt flyes
And here’s the important part: heavy is relative to YOU.
The right weight is one you can control with good form, but by the last few reps you’re thinking, yep…I’m ready to put these down. 😅
