Friday Development and OVA Ballistix Team

If you’re wondering about indoor volleyball in the coming year, there will be coed programming in Goderich for youngsters (grade 3-4 and 5-6). These will remain on Friday afternoons alongside Thunder basketball. I suspect we won’t start until the weather cools in October. Cost will, again, be approx $5 per session (for those that can afford it).

Meanwhile, for those of you girls U12 (this means grade 8 and under even if you happen to be 13) who want to put a little more
time into the sport, I will be running an OVA (Ontario Volleyball Association) club team here in Goderich. Practice times are confirmed for Sunday and Tuesday 5-7pm at GDCI high school. The season will run from early October and go until April. We will compete in a few (3 or 4) tournaments throughout the year and we will pick tournaments that don’t conflict with ringette.
Cost for OVA team (name is Ballistix) is undetermined but we are attempting to keep it under $1,000.
More confirmed details to come including tryout dates.
