The Moore Brothers Memorial Golf Tournament

Now that the dust has settled on the 2026 event: on behalf of the Moore Family and the close friends of Darrin and Robin, we'd like to extend a heartfelt thank-you to everyone who participated in the 2026 tournament; it was a great day once again!!

With regards to the golfing itself, each year the competition for the top spot gets stronger: this year 7 teams within the top 3, a few being tied. One of these years we'll be having that tie breaking putt off!

We'd also like to recognize and shout out to all the donors who helped cover costs, raise local donation money and allow us to offer some bling in the form of prizes: thank-you for helping make our day a great one, it is deeply appreciated!

One other project we're working on with any funds that are leftover: acquiring a memorial bench in Goderich to both remember the lads and provide a spot for any who would like to sit and have a beer with them while reminiscing on fond memories of friendships past. There are none available at the moment but we are near the top of the list should/when more become available.

Congratulations to all our winners and we hope to see you next year defending your accomplishment!!

Tomorrow is the 2026 big day, woot! Weather looks like it's going to cooperate nicely with a sunny high of 27C so we'd like to remind all our golfing friends to include water, bug spray and if you use it, sunscreen in your kit.

We've also added a hotdog to the mix which will be available prior to tee off; a little something for the beerverages to rest on.

More excitement from Moore Brothers Memorial HQ: we've reached our cutoff point and are just about full!

The course is requesting our final numbers making tomorrow, Friday July 17, the last day for registrations so please be sure to get your team details and registration fee submitted before midnight Friday.

Courtesy of El Nino, the weather for this year's event could be more of a wild card than previous. To that end, a suggested training video of sorts to help keep your game on track should weather be an issue!
