The Glencoe&District Snowmobile Club is now on the ITG. Start all your northern winter adventures from the the most Southern Club in Ontario. Ample parking is available at the fairgrounds located at 226 Currie St., access off of North St., in Glencoe with easy access to fuel.

⚠️Attention Ontario Snowmobilers!!! ⚠️

We hope you are as excited as we are for what lies ahead in just a few short months. After a 19-week winter that gave us some of the best snowmobiling conditions in years, we are deeply grateful to our club volunteers, landowners, partners, and you - the permit buyers - who continue to support this sport with passion.

Before trail prep kicks into high gear, permits go on sale, and groomers start turning tracks, we wanted to take this opportunity to provide a glimpse into the operational side of our sport. I hope you read on (it's a long one, but don’t worry - it's not snowing yet!).

From OFSC Newsletter: We are aware of the Canada Post strike and potential impact on permit delivery - last year we dealt with this well into December. We will ensure all permit buyers that they will have a permit to legally access OFSC Prescribed Snowmobile Trails by the time trails are available.
Are permit orders being processed during the strike? Yes, all permit orders placed during the strike are being processed. We continue to monitor the strike situation but want to assure you that your permit purchase will provide you with the legal requirement to access OFSC Prescribed Trails this winter. In the event trails become available before the strike is over, the OFSC will issue a communication to affected permit buyers regarding a temporary solution until mail service resumes.
Are permits being delivered during the strike? Permits purchased with standard mail delivery are affected by the Canada Post strike and will be delayed. Alternate tracked shipping options are currently being explored.
What happens if trails become available before I get my permit?
If OFSC prescribed trails become available before the Canada Post strike is over, the OFSC will issue a communication to affected permit buyers regarding a temporary solution until mail service resumes.
