BOTTLE DRIVE APRIL 26,2025 RING 73 Amateur Boxing Society

Ring 73 will be holding a bottle drive on April 26th. If you would like to donate your bottles you can drop them off at Ring 73 in the Hub at 85 East Ave, Glace Bay, NS B1A 5X4, or we can pick them up at your house at your convenience.
Our club is struggling to survive in paying the rising costs of oil bills, power bills, and insurance costs. If you would like to make a donation to our club in lieu of bottles you can send money to [email protected]

We will be doing a number of fundraisers in the coming months to keep these programs going for the kids in our local area!

Due to the busy time of year and Christmas holidays, 5 PM classes on Tues and Thurs have been cancelled until after the new year. 6 pm classes will continue until further notice. Hope each of you have a great holiday and look forward to seeing all our younger kids in the new year.

Ring 73 is looking for donations for our online auction! This auction allows this building to stay open and help as many young kids that come through that door! Cape Breroners near and far have always supported us and I have no doubt with this year. Be sure to reach out if you or your company would like to make this auction another success! Some real good boxing fights last night. Good to see so much talent in our province. Our boys at Ring 73 put on a good show showing hard work and skill. Proud of you boys! Back to the gym on Monday to get ready for next week!

THANK YOU to the family that made a very kind donation to our kids boxing program last night! I’m always so impressed by just how kind and helpful people are on our island. Thank you so much once again! I want you all to know that our club is seeing more and more people in our gym of all ages. I’m hoping we see more adults recognize the importance of their health and come down to get a workout in. This not about competition but being healthier now and in the future. Hope to see more kids this year than last so we can build confidence, self esteem and teach how commitment and dedication can lead them to such success not only in sport but life!
