🏒 COACHING & TEAM STAFF APPLICATIONS NOW OPEN 🏒

Nickel Centre Minor Hockey Association is now accepting applications for Coaching and Team Staff positions for the 2026–27 season.

We are looking for passionate, positive, and committed individuals who want to help develop players, build confidence, and create a fun and competitive hockey environment.

Positions include:

🏒 Assistant Coach
🏒 Team Manager
🏒 Trainer

🏒 NCMHA NEEDS YOUR HELP 🏒

Following our AGM, we still have two important volunteer positions that remain vacant — and we’re especially looking for someone interested in helping as our Registrar.

The Registrar plays a key role in helping organize registrations, supporting team formation, and helping keep our season running smoothly. Training and support will be provided.

We are also looking for a Fundraising Lead to help support initiatives that benefit our players, teams, and association throughout the season.

You do not need previous board experience — just a willingness to help and be part of a great hockey community.

Interested in learning more or know someone who may be a good fit? Please reach out to a member of the NCMHA Executive Team. We’d be happy to answer any questions.

We are pleased to announce the 2026–27 NCMHA Executive and Board of Directors:

We encourage all members to come out and attend the Nickel Centre Minor Hockey Association Annual General Meeting this Thursday at 6:30 PM upstairs at the George Armstrong Arena.

The AGM is a great opportunity to:

🏒 Hear updates from the executive
🏒 Share ideas and feedback
🏒 Help shape the future of NCMHA

Welcome Paul Charette – U9 Tier 1 Coach (2026–27 Season)

Nickel Centre Minor Hockey Association is pleased to welcome Paul Charette as our U9 Tier 1 coach for the upcoming season.

“I grew up playing rep hockey in Garson for the Nickel Centre Flyers. Following my playing career, I stayed involved in hockey as an official and through coaching where I've gained experience with the Sudbury District Girls Hockey Association, Nickel Centre Minor Hockey, and at the high school level in Sudbury.

My coaching philosophy is centered on hard work, commitment, and strong fundamental skill development. I focus on creating a positive and supportive environment where players can build confidence, be challenged, improve their skills, and most importantly have fun.

I'm looking forward to the 2026–27 season with the Nickel Centre Flyers.”

We’re excited to have Paul leading our U9 Tier 1 program next season. Welcome back to NCMHA. 🏒
