Appleby's Tae Kwon Do is affiliated with the Chung Won Institute of Tae Kwon Do in Moncton, NB, under Grand Master Won Kap Chung. We offer a variety of martial arts classes for all ages, with a combined focus on self-defense, cardio fitness, balance, endurance, and challenge to attain personal goals. Classes are combined among all belt levels in the spirit of learning together and helping each oth

er. Students are encouraged to work at their own pace, attending to individual fitness levels and/or disabilities. Along with martial arts training, we offer a variety of seminars, summer camps, facilitate birthday parties, and have various holiday parties throughout the year.

Hanshi Alain Sailly is from France; he is a 9th Dan Goshindo Jujitsu master and the international ambassador for the World Kobudo Federation, known for traveling globally to teach and share his martial arts expertise, often visiting Canada and other countries for seminars.

Goshindo (or Goshin-Do, Goshin Jutsu) is a Japanese term meaning "The Way of Self-Defense," a practical martial art system blending techniques from Karate, Judo, Aikido, Jujutsu, and Kobudo (weapons) to create effective self-protection, focusing on flow, coordination, and mental balance, developed within specific lineages like Kuniba-ha Sh*to-Ryu Karate. It emphasizes practical self-defense through strikes, joint locks, throws, and weapon work, aiming for holistic personal development beyond just combat.
