SENIOR FULL STACK DEVELOPER

The Lotto Factory is currently seeking a highly-skilled Senior Full Stack Developer to join our talented team. Reporting to our Chief Technology Officer, you are passionate about your work and making a positive impact. You thrive on the excitement of start-ups and will help the company reach its full potential by participating in product development from ideation to deployment.

The ideal person for this role is a problem-solver with an inquisitive and innovative mind and enjoys collaborating with their team to drive the company forward.

RESPONSIBILITIES
As a senior full-stack developer, you will be collaborating closely with our design and product development teams. You’ll influence specifications for new product features, build and modify backend APIs, write front-end JavaScript code that integrates with back-end APIs, and be responsible for ongoing improvements once deployed. If you are interested in joining an exciting team of movers and shakers who work hard and play hard, we look forward to hearing from you.

- Design, build, test and maintain web applications and services
- Implement APIs using RESTful conventions for integrating with web and mobile applications
- Work closely with our product and UX design teams to customize user experience on the front-end
- Analyze and optimize application code for efficiency and performance
- Write clean and well-organized code in accordance with industry best practices
- Participate in peer-reviewing of code and share expertise with other team members

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- 5+ years of experience doing hands-on software development
- Languages: SQL, Microsoft .Net C # Framework / Core, SLQ DB, Microsoft Azure Services HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AngularJS, and ReactJS
- Web Frameworks: MVC and/or AngularJS
- Interoperability: inter-component communications using technologies or protocols such as Web API or WCF
- Databases: Microsoft SQL Server
- Web Technologies: HTML and JavaScript
- .NET Tecnologies: Entity Framework and Linq
- Experience working with cloud providers Azure / AWS
- Experience working with single-page applications
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming concepts and design patterns
- Familiar with GitHub or other version control tools
- Experience with Agile software development methodology
- Experience mentoring a development team
- A disciplined approach to testing and quality assurance
- Flexible and inventive problem-solving skills

Web Developer Responsibilities

-Website and software application designing, building, or maintaining.
-Using scripting or authoring languages, management tools, content creation tools, applications and digital media.
-Conferring with teams to resolve conflicts, prioritize needs, develop content criteria, or choose solutions.
-Directing or performing Website updates.
-Developing or validating test routines and schedules to ensure that test cases mimic external interfaces and address all browser and device types.
-Editing, writing, or designing Website content, and directing team members who produce content.
-Maintaining an understanding of the latest Web applications and programming practices through education, study, and participation in conferences, workshops, and groups.
-Back up files from Web sites to local directories for recovery.
-Identifying problems uncovered by customer feedback and testing, and correcting or referring problems to appropriate personnel for correction.
-Evaluating code to ensure it meets industry standards, is valid, is properly structured, and is compatible with browsers, devices, or operating systems.
-Determining user needs by analyzing technical requirements.

Web Developer Requirements

-Solid knowledge and experience in programming applications.
-Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AngularJS, ReactJS
-Proficient in My SQL.
-Dedicated team player.
-Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
-Solid ability in both written and verbal communication.
-Knowledge of programming language and technical terminology.

Back-end Developer Responsibilities

-Compile and analyze data, processes, and codes to troubleshoot problems and identify areas for improvement.
-Collaborating with the front-end developers and other team members to establish objectives and design more functional, cohesive codes to enhance the user experience.
-Developing ideas for new programs, products, or features by monitoring industry developments and trends.
-Recording data and reporting it to proper parties, such as clients or leadership.
-Participating in continuing education and training to remain current on best practices, learn new programming languages, and better assist other team members.
-Taking lead on projects, as needed.

Back-end Developer Requirements:

-Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in computer programming, computer science, or a related field.
-Fluency or understanding of specific languages, such as Microsoft .Net C # Framework / Core, SLQ DB, Microsoft Azure Services, Java, PHP, or Python, and operating systems may be required.
-Strong understanding of the web development cycle and programming techniques and tools.
-Focus on efficiency, user experience, and process improvement.
-Excellent project and time management skills.
-Strong problem solving and verbal and written communication skills.
-Ability to work independently or with a group.
-Willingness to sit at desk for extended periods.

We are pleased to announce that our Operations, and sister company, TLF Global Limited has been rebranded as Civis Fundraising Solutions. As such our platforms will, effective immediately, reflect the Civis Fundraising Solutions branding in place of The Lotto Factory Global. The new branding will not affect the use or operations of the platforms by current Players or Administrators.

We wanted to eliminate some confusion and establish a better distinction between The Lotto Factory our Technology company (that develops and licenses online gaming software) and our Operations company which actually operates the 50/50, Merchandise, and, once certified, Chase the Ace draws under its Client Provider Authorization permit issued by the Kahnawake Gaming Commission.

We chose Civis as it is the Latin word for Citizen which we believe reflects the foundation of the citizen-based fundraising we hope to foster/enable through the use of our platforms. Our corporate websites and draw sites will be updated accordingly to reflect the changes in the coming days and weeks.
