🎉 Welcome, Nadya Ladouceur!

Today, June 15, Cross Country Ski New Brunswick is pleased to welcome Nadya Ladouceur, who officially joins our team as the organization's new Coordinator.

An experienced professional in governance, communications, and project management, Nadya also brings a deep passion for cross-country skiing. As a certified coach, former Executive Committee member of Wostawea Cross Country Ski Club, and long-time contributor to the sport's development, she is exceptionally well positioned to support the continued growth of cross-country skiing across New Brunswick.

Over the next few days, Nadya will work closely with Claudette Kavanaugh, whose final day with the organization will be June 19 before beginning her well-deserved retirement. We extend our heartfelt thanks to Claudette for her dedication, professionalism, and outstanding contribution to Cross Country Ski New Brunswick over the years.

Aujourd'hui, 15 juin, Ski de fond Nouveau-Brunswick est fier d'accueillir Nadya Ladouceur, qui entre officiellement en fonction à titre de coordonnatrice de l'organisme.

Professionnelle expérimentée en gouvernance, en communication et en gestion de projets, Nadya apporte également une grande passion pour le ski de fond. Entraîneure certifiée, ancienne membre du comité exécutif du club Wostawea et impliquée depuis plusieurs années dans le développement de notre sport, elle possède toutes les qualités pour soutenir la croissance et le rayonnement du ski de fond au Nouveau-Brunswick.

Au cours des prochains jours, Nadya travaillera en étroite collaboration avec Claudette Kavanaugh, dont la dernière journée sera le 19 juin, avant son départ à la retraite. Nous remercions chaleureusement Claudette pour son engagement, son professionnalisme et sa contribution exceptionnelle à Ski de fond Nouveau-Brunswick au fil des années.

The Nancy Hamilton Award has been given out for the last 26 years to thank a volunteer for their extraordinary work. This year's recipient is Felix Schwarz, who was celebrated as part of the Volunteer Appreciation Event last week.

Thank you to Lisa Perley-Dutcher and the Kehkimin wolastoqey immersion school for opening up the wigwam last week for Wostawea Fund Day. Our Jackrabbits really enjoyed learning songs in Wolastoqey and trying the snow snake.
