The experience of going to a new gym can be both exciting as well as intimidating. Our coaching staff understand the investment our members are making, and we pride ourselves on our ability to "over deliver". In order to serve all needs, we provide a full range of customized programming to meet our members specific needs, and offer an environment that truly makes going to the "gym" a fun and worthwhile experience. Looking forward to another great summer with our Champions Hockey Academy crew!

A major part of what makes our Advanced Performance Academy different is giving athletes access to proven professionals in every area of development.

For the off-ice portion this summer, our U15 and U16 APA athletes will attend Synergy Health & Sports Performance for supervised strength and performance training designed to help older athletes build power, movement quality, durability, and confidence in the gym.

Our U11 and U13 athletes will also work with the Synergy team through age-appropriate sessions delivered right at the rink. These sessions focus on movement skills, coordination, athletic foundations, and safe habits that support long-term development.

Having experienced performance professionals working alongside our on-ice staff helps ensure athletes are developing the right way at every age.

The result is a complete summer program that goes beyond the ice and gives players a real advantage heading into next season!

Attn all: Bring a Buddy Week is Back!

Members: If your friends and family have been wanting to check out the facility, now’s their chance to workout for FREE during buddy week, happening until April 17th.

Non-members: Do you know someone at our facility and have you been wanting to check out the gym? Let them know about buddy week and tag along for a workout 💪

How to:

Step 1: Register them with the link in our bio.

Step 2: Bring them along with you during our coaching hours 🗓️ (head over to our website for updated hours!)

Step 3: When you arrive, they need to fill out our health waiver. There is a QR code located above the coat hooks at the front of the gym that will lead them to it. The coach on the floor can help you find this as well. It must be done before they begin their workout.

Buddies can join for multiple sessions during this time as long as it’s during coaching hours and with their member.

If you want better results, start here ⤵️

Have a plan 🗓️
Random workouts lead to random results. A simple, realistic plan beats doing everything for two weeks and burning out.

Set realistic timelines
Meaningful change takes weeks and months-not days. Fast results often come with fast burnout.

Build support 🤝
This could be a coach, a community-focused gym, or a friend. Accountability and guidance matter and make a difference in the process.

Build sustainable nutrition habits
Yes, protein is important…but so are carbs, fiber, and overall intake. Eliminating food groups is rarely necessary unless there’s a medical reason.

Do the basics well before getting lost in trends ⚖️
Supplements, extreme workouts, and viral routines won’t outperform consistent training, adequate food, and good sleep.

Train for life, not just the gym 🏂
Movement shouldn’t only happen during workouts. Train in the gym so you can live fully outside of it—don’t live just to train.

Rest and recovery matters 
Recovery includes rest days, quality sleep, and managing stress. Training harder doesn’t fix poor recovery-it usually makes it worse.

Consistency beats intensity 📈
You don’t need 100% every day. Showing up at 60-70% on busy or hard days still counts-and it adds up.

MEMBERS:
If the buddy you bring to Bring a Buddy Week joins the gym, you’ll receive a $50 membership credit that will be available at your next renewal

BUDDIES: Receive $50 off your membership when you sign up

Bring a Buddy Week ends on Christmas Eve. As a reminder:
✅ All buddies must come in with an active member and it must be during our coaching hours
✅ Remember that coaching hours adjust slightly next week with our holiday schedule, so plan accordingly
✅ All buddies must sign the waiver before working out. There is a QR code above the coat hooks to the right of the door when you walk in that can be scanned, it will link to the waiver
