My ☀️ “Summer Glow Up” challenge will be a 12 Week program!!!😍😍😍 Starting Monday, June 2nd
This is my longest fitness challenge to date and I am PUMPED that so many of you were interested in it. It isn’t always simple to keep consistent with workouts in the Summer but having a program to follow along with makes it way less complicated, and is a great tool to see easy results!
Details of the program-
The 12 week program will be broken up into 3 Blocks (4 weeks per block):
- Includes 3-4 workouts per week
- Dumbbells, b***y bands, and a mat are required
-Week # 1-5 is getting into a groove. Starting slowly and ensuring we have the proper form & technique established. Focusing on strengthening and endurance with a variety of workouts
-Week # 6 will be our “Deload” week which will be a week of recovery with stretches, lighter weight lifted/ less training volume (less sets/ secs) to help our bodies recover from the first 6 weeks of training.
-Week # 7-12 will be focused on encouragement of “progressive overload”, which means increasing your weight lifted (at an appropriate level) and higher reps/ seconds keep your muscles adapting and growing stronger 💪 !
This program is suitable for all fitness levels. Just starting out? Bodyweightight or light weights to begin.
Someone who has been lifting for a while now? Increase weight beyond what youre used to!
This program is designed with “Progressive overload” in mind, which is appropriate for any level of fitness no matter where you are at in your journey!
