It's bittersweet that we have to announce farewell to Coralie for this season.
She has been given a fantastic opportunity to join the girls Canada Winter Games Team and go to her home province to compete.
We will miss you dearly, we wish you luck and good curling. We will be cheering for you in both official languages!

Another curling season has come to an end and there were all the usual - ups, downs, wins losses and many memories made to last a lifetime.
With this chapter closing, comes new adventures and new memories to make.
Things will look a little different for this team next year.

We would like to wish a huge congratulations and good luck to our 2nd - Kenzie Moore. As most know, she and her Canada Games Team will be representing NB in the 2027 Canada Winter Games in Quebec next year. She has chosen to focus on that team for next season and that really makes the most sense.
We wish you all good curling and we will be your biggest fans cheering you on!

Our Lead, Lily Allen has decided to step away and pursue other options as she feels, at 15, that a season of U20s would be a challenge along with school and other events in her life.
We wish you every happiness in whatever you choose to do and we will always be cheering for you.

As Tate Braedley and Jayla Etheridge have aged out of U18s, they have joined forces with Coralie Tessier to form a U20 team for the 2026/27 season.
Coralie has one more year at OHS and we look very forward to playing with her!
Coach Wallace Carr has thankfully agreed to take these young ladies for one more season.

**News on our 4th will come soon.**

Tate and Jayla will also be attending UNB in the fall and we hope they have a fantastic year of studies and success both in University and at Curling.

Thank you to everyone who has followed our journey, supported our dreams and helped us achieve some of our goals this season. We appreciate the fans who watched, the sponsors who helped us financially and physically and of course to our families who have shuttled us, fed us, taken off work, rearranged schedules, and supported us no matter what, so that we could chase these goals and dreams.

Brooms up for now and we'll see you again soon. 🥌🥌🥌🥌

This past weekend, there were 13 teams from across New Brunswick who came together to compete for a chance to represent our province at the Canada Winter Games in Quebec City next year.
8 girls teams and 5 boys teams.
We are thrilled to announce that one of our teammates was on the winning team and they battled hard to earn their title against some equally amazing players.
HUGE CONGRATS to Kenzie Moore and her team for winning the finals and becoming Team NB for the 2027 Canada Winter Games.
We are SO proud of you and cannot wait to cheer loud for you and your team next year!
Congrats to Team Hughes Curling on the boys side for a fantastic 6-0 victory and the title of Team NB as well.

That's the end of our U20s journey. We struggled with a few things this weekend and couldn't get our footing. We had one big win and improved our stats and our final round robin was a tight game that traded some fantastic shots by both teams.
We finished the 8th end in a tie and played extra end, where we had an open draw for 1 to take the game. Unfortunately, we came up short and conceded to the always lovely Team Gaines. We wish them luck as they carry on.
Our season has ended with ups and downs, but we are always grateful for the people and places along the journey.
Thank you to the Heather Curling Club, to Roger, Jane all the volunteers that provided space, snacks and wonderful hospitality. Thank you to the Ice Techs Vernon, Jeff, Dale for the beautiful condition and your talent for ice-making. We certainly couldn't play without you.
Thank you to our parents, our supporters here and watching from home - special nod to Cindy Lynch Moore 😉
Thank you coach Wallace Carr for the wisdom and the patience to keep us going.
Thank you, thank you, thank you to our sponsors - we appreciate the opportunities you have given us to learn, succeed and experience as we continue on this competitive journey.

Until next season! Good curling, good game.
