Good morning Fort McMurray/Fort Saskatchewan family!
After a great chat last night with Clint we are going to combine forces to create next year's event to have it happen the same day in Fort Saskatchewan.

Working beside Clint to bring the great thing he has created south !
Being a testicular cancer survivor this cause hits home !
Looking forward to what 2022 has in store.

Good evening, I am just going to take a minute to share a bit about myself.

My name is Tyler, I was diagnosed with testicular cancer in October 2013. Having survived this and always seeing the support through November for male cancer awareness I knew I wanted to give back.
I moved to Fort McMurray in 1997 and then relocated to Fort Saskatchewan in 2016 and call here home. I grew up in Fort McMurray playing minor hockey.

A gentleman by the name Clint has done a 24 hour hockey game for the past three years in Fort McMurray with more and more interest every year. I have always wanted to play in it as I have friends I have grown up with that do but it never worked out.
All The money made goes towards cancer research which is something that has probably touched us all one way or another over the years.

I recently reached out to Clint to ask for his support to bring what he has created to Fort Saskatchewan.
He was grateful in me reaching out and to be along side of me to plan a game down here for November 2022. This date will be finalized when we know more so the game is the same time as the one played in Fort McMurray.

This isnt something that can be organized overnight. I am trying to see if I can get enough interest to start this event here in our town. It will consist of 4 teams playing 24 hours of continuous hockey in support for Male Cancer Awareness.

Please share with everyone to see if we can make this event a success down here as it is in Fort McMurray.
