Cardio is about more than burning calories.❤️ Regular aerobic exercise helps strengthen your heart, improve endurance, and support healthy blood pressure. It can be as simple as a brisk walk, a bike ride, or a steady session on the elliptical or stairs.

Aim for a pace where you’re breathing a little harder but can still hold a conversation. Do it consistently, and your heart benefits over time.

Supporting your immune system matters all year, but fall always seems to bring those first rounds of colds and bugs. 🍂

As the weather gets colder, I like to focus on getting even more variety and nutrients into my meals. Your immune system needs enough food, protein, vitamins, and minerals to do its job, so those everyday habits matter more than any one “immune-boosting” food.

Here are three foods I like to include —and why!

My current matcha recipe 🍵

For the perfect matcha latte:
• 2 tsp matcha
• 1/3 cup warm water
• 3/4–1 cup milk of choice
• Cinnamon

Whisk the matcha with warm water until smooth and frothy. Pour over warm milk and sprinkle cinnamon!

I like matcha because it gives me a caffeine boost and naturally contains L-theanine. Together, they may help with alertness and focus. I find it feels a little gentler than coffee, although it’s still caffeinated and everyone responds differently!

I use both liquid and powdered bone broth to give this soup a rich, savoury flavour. Bone broth also contains amino acids and minerals, and a warm bowl can be especially comforting when your digestion feels off.

Make a big batch to enjoy throughout the week. You can add leftover roasted veggies to your bowls or even use the soup as a sauce with dinner!

One tough week doesn’t mean your progress has stopped. Low energy, a change on the scale, or a week that didn’t go to plan can feel frustrating. But one week never tells the whole story.

Sleep, stress, nutrition, training, recovery, and your cycle can all affect how you feel and what you see. That’s why weekly check-ins matter: over time, they help connect the dots, spot patterns, and guide the next step.

Keep showing up, even when the week wasn’t perfect! Those check-ins are often when the most helpful conversations happen

The top three questions I’ve been getting about coaching lately 👇

1. Do you still offer training?

Absolutely! Strength training will always be an important part of Thrive. To me, it isn’t optional! It plays a major role in building strength, supporting body composition, improving long-term health, and helping women feel more capable and confident in their bodies.

2. How does online training work?

Your personalized training program is delivered directly through the Thrive app, complete with exercise demonstrations, sets, reps, tempo, and technique guidance. You can follow your workouts on your own schedule while still receiving ongoing coaching, support, and program adjustments as you progress.

3. Can I work with you on both nutrition and training?

Absolutely! In fact, combining the two is where I see clients experience the most success. Training provides the stimulus for change, while nutrition supports your energy, recovery, muscle growth, and body-composition goals. When both are working together, we can create a much more effective and well-rounded approach.

Have another question about training or Thrive coaching? Send me a message, I’d love to chat :)

Add these shrimp tacos to your weekly dinner lineup. 🌮

The sauce is made with adobo chili pepper, Greek yogurt, lime juice, garlic powder & a little water for a creamy, flavourful topping that comes together quickly.

Taking a simple dinner and adding a fun (protein-packed) sauce is one of my favourite ways to change things up!
