🏗️ Building Tomorrow’s Workforce, Safely Today! 🚜

We are incredibly proud to help sponsor Project Heavy Duty in Fort St. John (School District 60)! For over 20 years, this amazing program has been giving local high school seniors real, hands-on experience operating heavy machinery and exploring careers in the skilled trades.

As a safety consulting company, our mission goes hand-in-hand with this initiative. Before these students ever touch the controls of a bulldozer or an excavator, they learn that safety is the foundation of every successful worksite. Through this program, students gain crucial industry hours (7:00 AM to 4:00 PM) and learn the vital importance of:

Tailgate Meetings 📋

Hazard Awareness ⚠️

Safe Work Planning 🛠️

By investing in our youth, we aren't just helping them build skills—we're helping instill a deeply rooted safety culture that they will carry with them throughout their entire careers.

Thank you to all the industry leaders, equipment operators, and organizers who make this invaluable program possible every year. Here’s to the workforce of tomorrow! 👷‍♂️👷‍♀️

Wildfire Season is Here. Is Your Crew Ready? 🌲🔥

As wildfire season begins to ramp up across province , the risk to worksites—particularly those in forested, dry, or rural areas—increases significantly. At Imade Safety Consulting, we believe preparation is the best defense against the unpredictable.

Beyond the basics, here is how you can protect your people and your project today:

Create a Buffer: Strictly maintain a 10m clear zone around all equipment and vehicles to prevent accidental ignitions.
Watch Your Parking: Never park vehicles over dry grass. Hot exhaust systems can ignite a fire in seconds.
Site Readiness: Ensure you have fire extinguishers and a dedicated water source available on-site at all times.
Information is Power: Don’t wait for smoke to appear. Download and monitor the BC Wildfire App for real-time alerts and updates.
The Exit Strategy: Ensure every member of your crew knows the emergency evacuation route before it is needed.

Wildfire safety isn't just a checklist; it's a constant state of awareness. Let’s work together to keep BC’s worksites safe this season.

STAY ALERT. STAY PREPARED. STAY SAFE.

🚨 Attention Construction Employers!

If your company operates under the construction industry classification with WorkSafeBC, participation in a mandatory hearing testing program is required.
WorkSafeBC regulations state that construction workers must complete baseline and annual hearing tests where applicable.

The good news? These tests are fully covered and come at no cost to your company.

To stay compliant, schedule your workers for their hearing tests as soon as possible. Appointments can be coordinated to minimize disruption to your operations.

Have questions about the program or booking process? Reach out to us—we’re here to help!
