Our Ni-Ten Summer Camp 2026 is just around the corner, and we have some thrilling news to share!

While we’ll be spending plenty of high-energy time on the mats building confidence, discipline, and Judo skills, we are also taking the learning outdoors this year! 🎒🌲

From exploring local parks to educational field trips where we’ll visit essential public services that keep our community safe, our camp offers the perfect balance of martial arts discipline and summer education.

Hello Ni-Ten Judo Members,

I would like to start by introducing myself. I am Mike MacDonald and have recently been elected as President of Ni-Ten Judo Club. I have been an active Member and competitor with the Club for the past few years.

With the resignation of the previous Board, elections were conducted at a Special General Meeting on May 24, 2026. Effective on that date, the following individuals were elected into executive leadership roles:
President: Mike MacDonald
Vice President: Leland Shopland
Secretary: Ryan Langevin
Treasurer: Peter Green

Director roles have been filled by:
TJ Young
Jody Young
Rachel Green
Sarah Maralli
Mark Bulbeck
Katie MacDonald

As we get organized and gain an understanding of the Club’s current situation, there are a few items that require immediate attention from Members to ensure a smooth end to the 2025-2026 judo season:

1) Ni-Ten 50/50 - if you have not done so already, please pick up your 50/50 tickets ASAP.

2) Year End Celebration - June 22, 2026
Mark your calendars, more information to come on this very soon.

3) Summer Camps - summer camps are planned over break, tell your friends! These camps are open to any children 5-12 years.

Please be patient as we get a handle on Club operations and business, the new Board is working through some things and is focused on Member experience and club longevity moving forward.

If you have any questions or concerns, don’t hesitate to reach out at anytime.

We are excited to announce our 50/50 Raffle pop-up fundraiser to support the development of our athletes and club programs!

📍 Ticket Sales Schedule
June 2nd (Sobeys, Thickwood): 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM
June 7th (Save-On-Foods, Thickwood): 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Tickets are $20 each.

All proceeds go directly toward supporting our athletes and enhancing our programs.
Your support truly makes a difference in our community and for our young athletes!
