The Junior Moose got behind early today and just couldn’t climb our way back. We finish the weekend bringing home a silver medal from the Junior Voyageurs Spring Classic.

A huge thank you to the Voyageurs for hosting such a fun and well-organized weekend, and to everyone behind the scenes who makes tournaments like this possible. These experiences mean so much for our players.

🏅 MVP – Mason Cutler for giving 110% every single shift
🔥 Heart & Hustle – Mason Hiller-Auger for his quick end-to-end play
🫎 Moose Belt Player of the Game – Joseph Jones for his quick feet and moving the puck into the offensive zone

We’ll take what we learned, refocus, and get back to work as we prepare for the Hockey Benders Cup in Halifax, June 26–28.

🏒🫎 Junior Moose Game Day Update! 🫎🏒
What a day for the Junior Moose with two awesome games and a whole lot of heart, hustle, and teamwork!
Game 1:
The Moose came out flying from the very first minute and never looked back. The EC Lions couldn’t find a way to answer back!
🔥 MVP: Gage Cutler with an incredible shutout performance!
💪 Heart & Hustle: Olivier Pigeon for working hard every shift and giving a full 60 minutes
🫎 Moose Belt Player of the Game: Jaxon Andrews for controlling the play, finding open ice, and burying some big goals
Game 2:
It took a few minutes to find our feet, but once we did, the Moose locked in, found our groove, and played as a true team—bringing home our third win of the weekend!
🔥 MVP: Jacob Stone for giving 110% and lighting the lamp
💪 Heart & Hustle: Blake Brenner for relentless puck pursuit and making great plays
🫎 Moose Belt Player of the Game: Koby Haas for strong defensive play and capitalizing on scoring opportunities

The Junior Moose are kicking off the Jr Voyageurs Spring Hockey Classic in style this weekend! 🫎🏒

The Moose battled hard in their first game and came out on top with a 4-3 win over the Voyageurs in a super close, exciting matchup. What a way to start the tournament!

Heart & Hustle goes to Aussie Wheeler, who gave it his all and found the back of the net twice!

MVP honours to Bentley Bowman, who was locked in from period one and made some incredible saves to keep the Moose in it! 🔥

Moose Belt Player of the Game goes to Charles Reashore, who kept his feet moving all game and buried a huge short-handed goal! 🏒⚡

Great teamwork, determination, and energy from the whole squad, let’s keep it rolling!
