On July 24, 2026, RCMP in participated in the Forestburg Pool's National Drowning Prevention Week, helping educate participants about the dangers of impairment when out on the water. 🏊

Using our "Fatal Vision" goggles 🥽 participants experienced how alcohol impairment can affect vision and coordination. They discovered how challenging even simple tasks can become when impaired.

Thank you to the Forestburg Pool staff and everyone who stopped by to learn more about impairment awareness and water safety.

⚠️ Before getting behind the wheel, operating a boat, or heading out for a day on the water, make a plan. Never drive or operate any vehicle while impaired, and always look out for your friends and family.
