Lookout Point is a private 18 hole golf course designed by Walter J. Completed in 1922, Lookout Point is considered one of Travis' finest and most challenging accomplishments. 🥂... congratulations to Cole Thompson, our Men’s Club Champion, and Stefi Markovich, our Ladies’ Club Champion. Congratulations to all of our flight winners, and a special thank you to everyone who participated.

It took a little longer than expected to get here. After rain brought things to a halt following Day One, we picked things back up two weeks later and finally got to finish what we started.

A special thank you to everyone who rolled with the changes along the way, and to all of the teams behind the scenes who put in the work—not once, but twice—to make the weekend possible.

🇺🇸... Lookout Point’s own Stefi Markovich has earned her place in the 2026 U.S. Senior Women’s Open, being contested August 20–23 at Barton Hills Country Club in Ann Arbor, Michigan.

It’s the latest achievement in what has already been a remarkable season. In June, Stefi captured the Ontario Women’s Senior Match Play Championship with a 1-up victory at Cataraqui Golf & Country Club. Last week, she added the Ontario Women’s Senior Amateur Championship, closing with a three-under-par 69 at Bridgewater Country Club to finish four under and claim the provincial title by one stroke. She then returned home this past weekend and successfully defended her Ladies’ Club Championship.

Now, Stefi takes her game to one of the biggest stages in senior women’s golf. The U.S. Senior Women’s Open brings together 120 of the world’s finest senior professionals and amateurs, with this year’s field featuring defending champion Becky Morgan alongside major champions including Annika Sorenstam, Karrie Webb, Juli Inkster, Amy Alcott, Helen Alfredsson and Catriona Matthew.

To see one of our own competing alongside some of the most accomplished names in the game is an incredibly proud moment for everyone at Lookout Point.

Congratulations, Stefi. We’ll be cheering you on from home!

Meet one of our new menu items, the Big Brie Burger: an all-beef patty topped with melted brie, fig jam, sautéed mushrooms, baby arugula and roasted garlic mayo. And if you’re having an app, the new crispy fried arancini isn’t a bad place to start.

🏛️... today marks a special moment in our Club’s history.

Congratulations to Isaiah Ellis, who today matched Lookout Point’s course record with an incredible 64, joining Mike Springer, who first set the mark in 1989.

Having grown up as a junior at Lookout Point, many of us have had the privilege of watching Isaiah develop his game over the years. Seeing one of our own earn a place alongside a piece of Club history makes today’s achievement especially meaningful.

Nearly four decades apart, two remarkable rounds now share a place in the history of Lookout Point.
