* C$ 28.50 – C$ 38.50/hour (depending on your experience)

* Overtime is any time over 8 hours per day or 44 hours per week (whichever works in your favour)

WHAT WE DO
We offer full-day Whitewater Rafting tours on the Elk and Bull Rivers and half-day scenic float tours as well. We strive for excellence in safety and customer service, and we work in a proactive and positive team.
REQUIREMENTS
• 2-3 years of class 3 or 4 raft guiding experience in paddle/oar rafts
• Current BCROA certification or equivalent
• Current Rescue 3 Swift Water Rescue Technician certificate or equivalent
• Current standard first aid (minimum 2-day course) and CPR certification. Advanced first aid (40 – 80 hours) would be preferred
• Available full-time for the summer season (expected start date April 30, expected end date September 30)
• Completion of high school or an equivalent combination of education and several seasons of commercial whitewater guiding experience
JOB DUTIES
Leading small groups on whitewater trips, advising on safety, guiding rafts, operating communication (including emergency) devices, providing emergency or first aid assistance, maintaining and repairing equipment, training and supervising junior staff, keeping logs, maintaining records and trip leading on assigned trips as necessary.
