What a weekend!

On the October 3 weekend, 13 of our women members competed in the Women’s Masters Team Tournament in Waterloo.

80 women from across Ontario participated. Singles squash, doubles squash, all levels.

Each woman is placed on a team for the weekend and they play 4 matches over the weekend.

There’s a dinner and dance party on Saturday night and needless to say a lot of fun is had!

CW Racquets had the highest number of women from one club. We are very proud of that. But we’d love to have more women!

Any other women want to learn to play this great game and meet other likeminded women in the process?

It’s hard to explain the racquet sport community until you’re part of it.

People from different ages, careers, backgrounds, and walks of life come together with one thing in common: they love the sport.

And somewhere between games, tournaments, league nights, and conversations between matches, you start meeting people you might never have crossed paths with otherwise.

That’s the kind of community we’re lucky to have at CW Racquets. ❤️

We had SUCH a beautiful day for our 1st Doubles Tennis tournament on Sept 26 ☀️

We had 10 doubles teams competing for bragging rights and the father / son team of Nathan & Andy came out on top! 🏆

We had some terrific rallies and great company. It was a super day to be on the courts and hanging out with great people!

This will definitely be a regular event on our summer calendar and we are already looking forward to next year’s tournament!

Only 8 spots per draw

Fee includes:
Minimum 2 matches
Friday pizza
Fruit & coffee both mornings

Your racquet might be doing more for your brain than you realize. 🧠🎾

Racquet sports require you to constantly coordinate what you see with how you move — tracking the ball, reacting quickly, changing direction, and making decisions in real time.

That combination makes racquet sports a pretty unique form of exercise.

And research has found an interesting connection between racquet sports and longevity, too.

So yes, there may be more to your weekly game than just having fun.

Four indoor courts, outdoor tennis and pickleball, a gym, saunas, viewing areas, games, a kitchen, equipment to borrow and plenty of space to make the club your own.

And one of the best parts? You don’t need to show up with a bag full of equipment. Our loaner wall has you covered if you’re trying something new.
