n Sports Club (formally known as the Falcon Snow Club) started back in the 90's and had a huge impact on the local community, particularly the kids (we event sent one of our members, ahem... the one, the only Megan Imrie, to the olympics, Twice!). Now the kids are grown and have kids of their own so we are working to resurrect the club in the name of community building, development of sport and fun! We host such events as:
- Casual gatherings and parties (like group skis)
- Skills development clinics
- Competitions and races
- Fundraising efforts
- Kids programming
We are currently focused on Nordic and Alpine sports (ie: cross country skiing, downhill skiing, snowboarding, mountain biking), but we are open to expand! Do you have a sport that you want to get involved in in our community? Let us know!
