We’d like to thank a special group of people today (and every day) for all of their hard work and dedication to making Kananaskis Golf what it is.

The early mornings, endless hours raking bunkers, cutting grass, replacing pins, and everything in between, all to produce 36 beautiful holes for our golfers to enjoy.

Our turf team works tirelessly behind the scenes to make sure every fairway, green, bunker and tee box is ready for you. Their dedication, attention to detail, and passion for these courses doesn’t go unnoticed.

So today, we’re giving a well-deserved thank you to our team, as well as all the other hard working turf teams out there. We appreciate everything you do to make Kananaskis Golf a place we’re proud to share with golfers from near and far.

It is always such a joy when AMAZING human beings are rewarded for their awesomeness by something really cool happening to them. Today’s hole in one is just that!

Please meet Jacob Meyers- a fellow K-team member and all round good guy who’s love for golf is only exceeded by a couple of things including his family, his incredible Fiancee Kelsey , their dog Rupert, EDM, Pokémon, and of course !!

Jacob is our Office administrator…a title which does little to really capture how important he is to our operation. Seeing him get his first ever ace is truly special for everyone here! AND…it’s a cool story. Get this!

Jacob was playing golf with his Mom when he got this ace on 4 Lorette. He absolutely nailed an 8 iron 171 yard into a typical gusting southwesterly wind and as soon as it left his club, they knew this PM was going to be close! (that’s for you swish). Odds of getting a hole in one are a well documented 12,500 to 1. Getting to do it with your mom present?? Exponentially higher and PRICELESS!!

But wait!

Jacob and his Mom are used to experiencing high odd scenarios together as they were playing crib together years ago when Jacob got the PERFECT hand- a 29!!! With odds even higher at 1 in 216,580!! Crazy right?

So if your brain goes where ours did- the math on two people experiencing both a 29 in crib together and a hole in one together is approximately 2,710,625,000 to 1. Crazy!

Couldn’t have happened to a greater guy to get to experience these two cool things together with his Mom. Welcome to the Swish! Nobody on it more proud than you!

We are incredibly excited to introduce our wonderful Social media family to Jessie Brambell- our latest guest to become a member of the !!

Please put your hands together and give a massive round of applause to Jessie Brambell who got his FIRST EVER hole in one and perhaps just as importantly got to celebrate it with friends, Colin, Chris, and Lucas who all got the thrill of experiencing the ace in real time!! Those three can now answer the question of “what does a PERFECTLY hit 9 iron look like from 165 yards on 12 kidd?”.

Well done Jessie! Thanks for making the time to join our team for golf and now join our exclusive group of individuals who have aced a hole! We appreciate your visit! Time to get one on Lorette!
