Good morning,

Thanks to everyone that showed interest in the 4v4 league and development. Just wanted to let everyone know we will be proceeding with the planning and work hard to make this happen. Stay tuned for the offical announcement, which will likley be made under a different name as its a joint venture, not just me. I will be sharing the links/info on my page as well. I will leave the form open so feel free to keep sharing it. We will be opening offical registration early for those that completed the form and for those who contacted me.

For anyone dropping off skates over the next little bit, I've moved the drop box, its still on the front deck and I'll add a new logo to the front later today. I'm transitioning the newest members of my property force protection team to their outside accommodations. Good Morning,

*Minor Hockey Development Opportunity in East Hants*

Myself and a few coaches in the East Hants area are looking to start two hockey development initiatives for U7, U9, U11, and U13 age groups. At this time we are simply gauging interest before we proceed with planning.

1. Full Ice 4v4 league in the Mid Aug to Sept timeframe. This would be available for U9 to U13 levels, 1 game a week for each level to start then move to 2 games a week. 2 teams per age group, 12 players each team and we would mix up the teams each game. Games would have Refs and a time keeper and we hope to collect individual stats. Cost would be approxmately $200.00 per player.

2. Progressive Development starting in the Sept time frame, tailored and available to U7 to U13 levels. Program would be 6 weeks, 1 ice time per week and cover power skating, individual skills/tactics and move to team tactics and in game situational skills with the last ice time being a full ice scrimmage. Cost would approximately be $200.00 per player.

This is not just for players specifically in the East Hants area so please share this far and wide but we do intent to run all this at the East Hants Sportsplex. We will have reduced cost incentives should people want to attend both of these opportunities. If we do get the interest and the first sessions are successful we are more then willing to grow this by adding additional sessions and all sorts of different opportunities.

Proud to announce my next discount group, minor hockey coaches and skating instructors. You put in countless hours planning practices and skating sessions, countless more hours on the ice and on the bench. All in the pursuit of teaching hockey, skating, and not to mention, life skills. Some days its hard to believe you volunteered for the goat rodeo that is unfolding in front of you. Spring hockey season is slowly coming to an end, just in time for summer/development to start! 😆. Don't forget the East Hants Skating Club has their Ice Show on the 31st. Lets get those edges freshened up for the final tournaments and shows. Shop is open tomorrow (Wednesday May 27th). Drop off skates or swing by, contact me to arrange.
