Next Stage Coaching and Facilitation

Next Stage Coaching and Facilitation Discover how working with horses can help build your self awareness, confidence and find the leader within. Horses show us the way.

Working with horses provides an opportunity to discover things about yourself in a safe, non-judgemental and unique way. Because they live in the moment and respond immediately to their environment, horses provide real time feedback about how one shows up in their space. With the help of a certified coach, clients can then explore everything about themselves: thoughts, feelings, emotion, body post

ure and movement, their energy, even their intentions and how that affects others. By increasing your self awareness and the understanding of how your body responds in unique situations, you learn how to choose your response rather than just reacting to what's happening. Working with horses allows for building skills and the embodiment of real change that helps enhance relationships when those skills are practiced in our human relationships.

It’s Here!✨ Welcome to the 'She Who Leads' Circle — for women ready to lead as who they truly are. Have a look and be sure to pass this along to any women you think may have an interest in joining us for this experience.

This is for you if you have been TOLD how you need to be rather than CELEBRATED for who you are and what's possible as you define yourself as a leader.

The 'She Who Leads' Circle is officially open — an intimate, transformational leadership experience for women who are ready to:
✨Own your truth and speak with without making excuses or apologizing
✨Lead with your heart clearly and confidently
✨Support and be supported by other women
✨Dig a little deeper to find out what matters to you

We believe the most powerful version of your leadership… is you showing up authentically. Sometimes it takes a little while to figure out what your authentic self looks like especially if you are in an environment where there's no time for that. She Who Leads is an invitation to explore, with others, what living leadership looks like - your way.

We went to work today with our first EFC session since this last lockdown. We supported the client as she spoke her truth making new discoveries and affirming what she thought she knew. We were rock stars.

Let's make a DATE using FACETIME

Well who could have predicted this? More people and families affected by COVID in Nova Scotia than we have seen thus far in the pandemic. So challenging.

So...... we have an idea that might help just a little. Obviously we have suspended our programming here. It's tough for us to be able to maintain the distances we need to and still stay within the rules designed to limit the spread and keep us safe.

So we are open to hosting a FaceTime with you so you can interact with us and the herd as we go about our usual routines. So for half an hour or so in the morning or the evening, you can watch the herd. We can arrange a time that works for both of us.

Just reach out at [email protected] and we will see what we can come up with.

Stay home and follow the rules to be safe.

Balanced Leadership Series starts again in September. Participants who joined us in the first series.... LOVED it.

Are you:
Someone who has been promoted to a leadership role because of your strong technical skills yet feels challenged on the people front?
In the first 5-7 years of your career and want to advance?
Often frustrated by situations or by people who fundamentally disagree or don’t align with your thinking or way of doing things?
Wanting to understand your leadership style and grow your skill as a leader?

If so....
How about joining us to explore leadership in a novel way? Come discover the five roles of Socially Intelligent Leadership.

A colleague has said…..” it is becoming more and more obvious that people join or leave an organization based on its leaders and leadership style. Good leaders need to know about these roles. They need to know when to assume each one. They need to know when to behave with a little more of this and a little less of that. I like understanding these roles because the objective is not to be 100% of anything all of the time rather to be a balanced leader.”

The next series starts in September. We have limited spots available. Come by yourself or bring your team. We’d love to have you along.

Check out this offering for Balancing the Essential Roles of Leadership in a Virtual Workplace. So pleased to be able to offer this with fellow Eponaquest Instructor, Pirjo Kemppainen. Starts on May 31st.

Working virtually creates unique challenges and offers an opportunity for us to examine the ways we interact with others to enhance relationships, positivity and productivity when we do not have the opportunity to physically come together.

We'll use the Socially Intelligent Leadership framework of the Five Roles of the Master Herder by Linda Kohanov to create an opportunity for coming together to find new ways to support others while working from home.

Registration is limited so reach out early. Looking forward to sharing this creative space with you.

Here at Next Stage we are listening to the advice of our Public Health Officials and staying home and are not doing any on property work right now either cause we want you to stay home too.

That does not mean we cannot do anything though.

I will be offering an introduction to the Five Roles of the Master Herder ONLINE. Six online sessions and then when the restrictions lift.... a final day on site for the wrap up.

The Five Roles of the Master Herder is a socially intelligent leadership model based on the work of Linda Kohanov. Essentially, to be masterful leaders we need to understand and balance the five roles: leader, dominant, nurturer/companion, sentinel and predator. And we need to use power in a non-predatory and healthy way as we use these roles effectively.

You can take a professional assessment at https://masterherder.com/professional-assessment/
BE SURE TO print your results so we can chat privately about them.

Here's the deal.... the online sessions will be about 1.5 hours via ZOOM and they will be FREE. Sunday mornings from 1030 till 1200 beginning one week from Sunday coming.... start April 12.

The on site session will have a modest fee HOWEVER you are not committed to do the on site just because you sign up for the online.

Just send a private message if you are interested in starting with the online. Registration is limited to 15.

See you via ZOOM. Stay home so you and yours can stay healthy.

Ah but these are interesting times. Next Stage EFC is paying attention to the CoVID 19 situation as is the rest of the world. With respect to our May and June programs, we will be watching what unfolds carefully to see if these programs can run as scheduled. Depends on what our Public Health experts advise. Stay tuned.

As for new programming.... the Parents Workshop that was soon to be announced, we are postponing that for now.

We continue to do our development work and will have an announcement about a new program coming in the fall. Assuming of course, that the pandemic is over.

On a personal note....It is time to take care of one another. Our Chief Public Health Officer Dr. Robert Strang, is on top of this. He is working with other experts and you can rest assured, other experts in Canada to ensure a reasonable, measured and appropriate response. Having had the opportunity to work inside government and watch him and our professionals firsthand when H1N1 was alive and well, I have confidence in our public health system. We must pay attention to what our government and public health officials are asking of us.

Wash your hands often... cough into the sleeve, remember others as we shop and prevent the over purchasing, limit contact in public gatherings, ensure your elderly neighbours have what they need, stay out of our emergency departments unless directed there by 811, stay home rather than travel internationally. Self quarantine if you've travelled. All very sound public HEALTH advice. Thank you to our Nova Scotia team.

We'll be back when the time is right. See you then.
