We’re Hiring! 🥌

The Enderby & District Curling Club is looking for a Facility Manager and Bar Manager for the upcoming 2026/27 curling season. It’s shaping up to be an exciting year at the club, including hosting the BC Provincial Stick Curling Championships, and we’re looking for two great people to help us make it a successful season.

Facility Manager: A hands-on, flexible role for someone who takes pride in keeping our club safe, well maintained, welcoming and continuously improving.

💨❄️ Major upgrade at the Enderby Curling Club ❄️💨

Our new dehumidifier has been installed, replacing a unit that served the club for many years. While it may not be the most glamorous piece of equipment, it's one of the most important systems in any curling facility. By controlling humidity in the rink, it helps our ice team maintain cleaner, more consistent ice conditions with less frost and surface moisture throughout the season.

This project represents the largest facility investment our club has made in recent years and is an investment in the experience of every curler who steps onto our ice.

We're grateful to the Enderby Lions Club, Royal Canadian Legion, Funtastic, the Provincial Government Community Gaming Grant program, and the many members, volunteers, businesses, and community supporters whose contributions helped make this project possible.

We're also proud to have partnered with Yeti Refrigeration on this installation. Supporting local businesses matters to us, and we're fortunate to have the expertise needed for a project of this scale right here in our community.

With better ice conditions, and some exciting events already in the works for next year, there's a lot to look forward to at the Enderby Curling Club. We can't wait to welcome everyone back this fall.

Jam Can Curling is a free curling event for kids ages 5–12, taking place Saturday, March 14 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Enderby Curling Club.

No experience or equipment is required. Kids can register as a team of four or individually, and games will be organized at the club.

A hot dog lunch will be provided, and the event will include prizes and a raffle basket. Parents will be asked to help with simple scorekeeping on the ice and assisting with lunch preparation.

Registration forms can be picked up and returned at the MV Beattie Office, or parents can register by emailing [email protected] with their name and phone number, along with the names and ages of the children they would like to register.

This event is the Enderby Curling Club’s final on-ice event of the season and a great opportunity for kids to get on the ice and have some fun trying curling before we down the ice!

Free Community Curling – Saturday, February 21

Curious about curling? Here’s your chance to try it.

On Saturday, February 21, the Enderby Curling Club is hosting a free community curling event focused on getting people into real games in a relaxed, welcoming setting. Everyone is welcome — no experience necessary, and there’s no cost to participate.

Pickup games will run at:

🕑 2:00 PM
🕓 4:00 PM
🕕 6:00 PM

Teams will be randomly assigned. Each game will be 4 ends and last about an hour. Between draws, the ice will remain open if you’d prefer to throw a few rocks and get a feel for the game.

All you need are clean indoor shoes. Please arrive at least 20 minutes before a time slot so we can get you set up with equipment before heading onto the ice.

Upstairs, the Stone and Broom lounge will be open from 1:30 PM to 8:30 PM with hot dogs and french fries available, along with drinks from the bar. We’ll have the Olympics on TV and some dice and card games ready to go.

It’s a great opportunity to try curling, meet some people, and spend a fun afternoon at the club. We’d love to see you there.

BC Family Day at the Enderby Curling Club

Looking for something fun to do together this Monday? We’re opening the ice for families to come out and try curling as part of BC Family Day.

📍 Enderby Curling Club - 1605 Kate St.

This is open ice time for families — no experience needed. If you’ve ever been curious about curling, this is a relaxed way to give it a try together.

Upstairs in the lounge, the Enderby and District Community Resource Centre will be hosting kids games and activities, so there will be something happening both on and off the ice.

We’d love to see you stop by, spend some time together, and enjoy the afternoon at the club. Bring clean indoor shoes and come have some fun with us!

This week is Thank an Ice Tech Week, and we want to take a moment to recognize two people who do a tremendous amount of work behind the scenes at our club.

A big thank you to Stephen Campbell and Keith Rosin for the time, care, and dedication they put into keeping our ice in great shape. Ice techs often work outside the public view — late nights, early mornings, and plenty of quiet hours — all so the rest of us can simply show up and enjoy the game.

Their effort and attention to detail makes a real difference, and our club wouldn’t be the same without them. We truly appreciate everything they do!

🎉 Happy New Year, Curlers! 🥌

We hope everyone had a great holiday season and is ready to get back on the ice as we kick off 2026 and settle into the heart of the curling season.

We had a fantastic start on Sunday hosting the intermediate and advanced divisions of our intercity league, and it was great to see our junior team in action as well. They finished the day with one win and one loss, but most importantly, everyone had a great time. Thank you to everyone who came out to cheer them on, and a big shout-out to Hubert and Melinda for keeping everyone fed with hot dogs and French fries!

All leagues and programs are starting back up this week. This coming weekend (January 9–11) we’re excited to host our Ladies Bonspiel, so if you’re around, stop by to watch some great curling and enjoy the atmosphere. Please note that Saturday Junior Curling and Sunday Adaptive Curling will resume the following weekend (January 17 & 18).

As we’re back into regular play, it’s also a great time to give your curling gear a good clean — fresh shoes, grippers, and brooms help keep our ice in great shape for everyone.

We’re looking forward to a great stretch of curling ahead and can’t wait to see you at the rink! 👋🥌

🎉 Holiday Season is Almost Here at the Enderby Curling Club! 🎄

We’re wrapping up an amazing first half of the season — thank you to everyone who’s been on the ice, cheering from the warm room, or helping behind the scenes. The curling has been fantastic across all our leagues, and the energy in the club has been unreal. 🙌

Here’s what’s coming up as we head toward the break:

🥌 Enderby Men’s Bonspiel — This Weekend!
The club will be buzzing all weekend long. Come on down, watch some great games, and cheer on our teams!
Junior Curling and Adaptive Curling are cancelled for the weekend.

🍗 Members Turkey Dinner — Tuesday, December 16 at 5:00 PM
Join us for a cozy evening of good food, good company, and a little holiday cheer. All ECC members are welcome!

🎄 Holiday Closure — December 19 to January 4
We’ll take a well-deserved break starting December 19. The club reopens January 5 with Learn to Curl back on the ice.

🥌 Intercity Games — Sunday, January 4
Before leagues resume, join us to watch some inspiring young curlers — including a few of our own — compete right here in Enderby.

📢We’re excited to announce that registration is now open for all of our 2025/26 bonspiels!

This season we’ve got something for everyone:
🥌 Men’s, Ladies’ & Mixed Bonspiels – fun themes, meals included, and plenty of cash prizes to be won.
🥌 Stickspiels & Tuffspiels – fast-paced games in unique formats designed for skill and fun, with cash prizes for winners.
🍗 Members’ Turkey Dinner – a festive evening of food, prizes, and great company (free for members, $15 for spouses).

Some events are closed to Enderby Curling Club members, but our open bonspiels welcome anyone — whether or not you’re part of a curling club. Not curling this season but want to get out and enjoy a tournament? Grab some friends and join the fun!

We’ve just finished our second week of the season — and our first full week of league play! The ice has been fantastic this year, thanks to our ice tech Steve Campbell 👏.

👉 League schedules, scores, and spare lists are always available online. Visit enderby.curling.io and click on one of the leagues, and then choose 'Schedule and Results' or 'Spares'. Remember to circle the winner on the printed schedules at the club after your games!

💡 Monday Night Learn-to-Curl – Members, come out Mondays at 7pm to practice and help our new curlers experience real games. Your support makes a big difference!

✨ Big thanks to Dave & Lisa Lancaster for refreshing the entrance hallway with a fresh coat of paint — the club looks brighter and more welcoming than ever. Volunteers keep us strong, so check out the schedule at the club if you’d like to help out.
