On Tuesday Evening, we celebrated an incredible season at our Elmvale Minor Ball End-of-Year Banquet! ⚾️💙

Oh, what fun was had! It was the perfect evening to come together, celebrate our players, recognize the incredible people who make our season possible, and reflect on everything our teams accomplished this year.

We kicked off the evening with a warm welcome from our MC, Matt Garwood, followed by a special thank-you to our executive, sponsors, diamond liners, coaches, and all of the volunteers who work behind the scenes to make our season run so smoothly. We also had the opportunity to highlight the amazing seasons had by all of our teams! 👏

Our U5 and U7 players got things started in true baseball fashion, showcasing their speed as they raced around the bases and received an award as they crossed home plate. 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️⚾️

Next up were our U9, U11, U13, U15 and U21 teams, with each age group taking the field to be recognized and receive a special player gift.

We were also proud to present two very special awards:

🏆 Chris Minty Memorial Award – presented to Timmy Dyce of the U15 team for his dedication and sportsmanship throughout the season.

🏆 Lynda Ritchie Memorial Award – presented to Taylor Burrell of the U21 team for her love of the game.

One of the most special moments of the evening was recognizing our three graduating players, Wes Covey, Brody Leclair and Jordan Minty. ❤️

It was an absolute pleasure to present each of them with a special player gift. All three have spent almost their entire minor ball careers right here in Elmvale, and we couldn’t be prouder of the players and people they’ve become. Congratulations, Wes, Brody and Jordan! We can’t wait to see where the game takes you next! ⚾️

We wrapped up the evening by recognizing and thanking all of our umpires. These young adults dedicated their evenings to helping keep our games running, and we may be a little biased, but we think we have some of the best umpires in the league! 👏

A huge thank-you to Roy and Christine Patenaude for supplying dinner and treats for our players and families. Everything was delicious and so appreciated! ❤️

And, of course, no banquet would be complete without some fun! The bouncy castle was a huge hit with the kids. A special thank-you to our U15 players who helped keep an eye on things and made sure everything ran safely and smoothly. 🎉

To our players, families, coaches, volunteers, sponsors, umpires and executive, thank you for making the 2026 season one to remember!

We are so proud of everything our Elmvale Minor Ball community accomplished this year. 💙⚾️

🌟 MINOR BALL BANQUET IS TONIGHT! ⚾️

We can’t wait to celebrate an amazing season with all of our players and families! ❤️

📅 Tonight — Tuesday, August 25th at the Elmvale Arena Diamond
⏰ Ceremony Starting at 5:30 PM
👧⚾️ We will begin with our youngest age group, so please arrive early! We typically move through the awards and activities pretty quickly.

🌧️ RAIN OR SHINE!
If the weather doesn’t cooperate, we will still be there! We’ll be collecting jerseys, handing out hotdogs & snacks, and making sure players receive their gifts and awards.

👕 REMINDER: Please bring your player’s jersey to return tonight. Unreturned jerseys will result in a $50 fee being added to registration next season.

There will be lots of fun, food, awards and a chance to celebrate everything our players accomplished this season! 🎉

🏆 WHAT. A. SEASON! U13-3 Edition🏆

This great group of players and families made this season one to remember!

From the first practice to the final inning, this team showed up with unmatched dedication and a genuine drive to improve. They put in the work, honed their skills, and finished the season with an 11-2-1 record, bringing home the season championship

What made this season truly special was the character on and off the field. These kids consistently demonstrated outstanding sportsmanship, cheered each other on, and played with heart and respect for the game.

A huge thank you to our incredible players for giving it their all, and to our parents for their constant support, encouragement, and community. We couldn't have asked for a better group!

✨⭐️ U7-4 End of Year Spotlight ⭐️✨

As our baseball season comes to a close, Kelly and I are feeling incredibly grateful for the opportunity to coach the U7 Elmvale Expos Team #4.

What an amazing group of 10 young athletes! Watching each player grow in confidence, learn the game, support one another, and most importantly have fun, made this season one to remember.

Making this experience even more special was having two of our granddaughters on the team. Sharing the dugout, the laughs, and all the little milestones together created memories we'll cherish for years to come.

A huge thank you to all of the parents for your support throughout the season, and to the Elmvale Expos organization for giving us the opportunity to be part of these incredible kids' baseball journey.

Here's to a fantastic season and many more memories on the diamond! ⚾❤️

Congratulations to our Elmvale Minor Ball U9-2 team on capturing 3rd Place in the A Division at the U9 Playoff Tournament in Vasey yesterday!

The U9-2 team has wrapped up an awesome season, and should be so proud of all of their hard work and determination throughout the season.

Each player has learnt and grown so much and we can’t wait to watch them on the field next year!

⚾ Congratulations to Our U9-1 Team! ⚾🏆

A huge congratulations to our Elmvale Minor Ball U9-1 team on capturing 1st Place in the B Division at the U9 Playoff Tournament in Vasey yesterday! What an incredible accomplishment and a testament to all of your hard work, teamwork, and determination throughout the season.

The journey isn’t over yet! Our U9-1 squad now advances to the Mary Ann Leonard Playoff Finals, where they’ll take on Coldwater-2 tomorrow evening in Coldwater!

Best of luck to all of our players, coaches, and families as you compete for the championship. We’re all cheering you on and can’t wait to see what you accomplish!
