2025 Ontario Paintball League Player of The Year spotlight

⭐Matheus Batista⭐ ()

Matheus was the people's champ for the 2025 OPL season, earning the most votes out of all the nominees and representing the Toronto Chargers to the fullest by playing his heart out and being a respectful individual among the paintball community. His dedication to the game of paintball has put others on notice, showing that hardwork and perseverance can bring you success and recognition at the top level. Coming from Brazil and now competing in the highest division of Canadian tournament paintball, Matheus is always practicing and working on his craft to not only be the best player he can be, but also work alongside his teammates to become a true threat at every event they play.

Keep it up Matheus, and congratulations on winning the 2025 OPL POTY award. Who is going to take his place for the 2026 season? Stay tuned and find out!

The 2026 Ontario Paintball League Event 1 MVP

Nick Lopez

This was no easy decision. Devious Paintball played some stellar team paintball to show that they belong in the Premier Division, showing success from multiple individuals who impacted their performance. However, Nick Lopez showcased tremendous skill and determination when it came to his presence on the field. He stepped up for his team when it mattered most, executed at a high level throughout the entire event and was a dominant threat in their finals match against the Wasaga Beach Paintball Adventure Beach Boyz, taking down the reigning champions and earning the top spot in Ontario paintball. Congratulations to Nick on winning the Event 1 MVP award, an Ntensity Customs personalized care package and also securing a spot for a chance at the 2026 Player of The Year award.

The BIGGEST prize package yet!!!🤯💥

The 2026 Ontario Paintball League POTY award is FULL of some amazing prizes for all the MVP's, but the overall winner is walking away with A LOT of paintball awesomeness. Each event MVP is receiving a different prize from each event with some amazing Canadian paintball companies supporting the award. However, the Player of The Year for the 2026 season will be walking away with over $1000 in paintball apparel, gear, vouchers and cash! This will easily be the largest and most high value prize package we have ever done.

The trophies have ARRIVED!🏆💥

The Ontario Paintball League season opener is right around the corner, and with that brings another year of the OPL Player of The Year award, looking to recognize the top talent in the Ontario paintball tournament scene. This year will have FOUR MVP's chosen from each event (E1, E2, E3 and E4) who will receive an event trophy and prizes. The four MVP's selected by the POTY committee will be entered as this year's candidates for the overall POTY award heading into the final event of the 2026 season.
