The Ultimate Youth Draw

We’re proud to partner with incredible community sponsors who share our passion for youth empowerment and outdoor education. A heartfelt thank you to our partners for helping make this opportunity possible.

Spend a Day Hunting with Amanda Lynn Mayhew. Youth ages 12–17 who have completed the Canadian Fi****ms Safety Course (CFSC) or the Ontario Hunter Education Course are invited to stop by YR Fi****ms Booth #1043 to enter The Ultimate Youth Draw.

One lucky participant will win the incredible opportunity to spend a full day in the field with Amanda Lynn Mayhew, host of the television series Hunting Girl and owner of Just Hunt.

This guided experience will take place during either a spring turkey hunt or a fall deer hunt, offering hands-on mentorship focused on safety, ethical hunting practices, and responsible firearm use. Amanda Lynn brings years of professional hunting, media, and outdoor experience, creating an engaging and educational environment tailored to youth hunters.

This unforgettable day is designed to inspire confidence, respect for wildlife, and a lifelong appreciation for Canada’s hunting heritage—while learning directly from one of the country’s most recognized female hunting advocates.

International Women’s Day

Today we celebrate the incredible women who are helping shape the future of the outdoors. From hunting and conservation to education and mentorship, women are playing an increasingly important role in our community—and it’s inspiring to see those numbers continue to grow each year.

As a female certified fi****ms and hunter education instructor for over 25 years, I’ve had the privilege of helping thousands of individuals gain the knowledge, confidence, and skills needed to participate safely in our outdoor traditions. It’s especially rewarding to see more women stepping forward, learning, and becoming leaders in the field.

At YR Fi****ms, we are proud to create an inclusive environment where everyone feels welcome to learn, grow, and be part of something meaningful.

Here’s to the women who hunt, teach, mentor, and carry forward the traditions that bring families and communities together.
