Alors, comme promis, voici quelques rappels, consignes et détails concernant les règlements pour la journée du tournoi!
C’est un long message, mais tous les détails vous seront communiqués avant le départ officiel. Nous serons aussi présents un peu partout sur le terrain pour répondre à vos questions et faire en sorte que tout se déroule dans le plaisir!
On commence ça avec une bonne nouvelle : le CHIPMAKER sera sur place et prêt à vous servir dès 11 h! 🤤😋
Il y a plusieurs tables à pique-nique à proximité. Ce sera donc l’occasion parfaite de profiter d’un bon lunch en plein air d’automne! 🍂
PREMIÈREMENT — LE STYLE DE JEU
Les deux tournois, en double et en simple, se joueront en STYLE LIBRE.
Ce qui veut dire que vous jouez le trou comme vous le voulez, sans restrictions en lien avec les obstacles ou les bandes de côté.
Afin d’assurer une bonne fluidité dans le jeu et d’éviter les délais, un maximum de QUATRE COUPS PAR JOUEUR sera exigé pour compléter un trou.
Un coup de pénalité sera appliqué si la b***e sort du terrain, soit en passant par-dessus une bande ou si elle revient en dépassant le tertre de départ (tee-off).
⚠️ LE FAMEUX TROU #7 — LA RIVIÈRE
Pour notre INFÂME TROU #7, LA RIVIÈRE, IL N’Y AURA PAS DE PÉNALITÉ si la b***e frappe la bande du fond et revient dans la rivière.
Vous pourrez donc jouer votre deuxième coup en plaçant la b***e « de l’autre bord » de la rivière pour ensuite compléter le trou.
⚠️ Ceci s’applique SEULEMENT dans ce cas précis. Les coups de pénalité habituels seront valides pour toute autre situation.
🌅 EN AVANT-MIDI — TOURNOI EN DOUBLE
Deux b***es — meilleure b***e (Best Ball)
🕙 Départ SH***UN à 10 h 15
Deux rondes par équipe.
Le meilleur pointage cumulatif l’emporte.
Vous formez vos propres équipes et, étant donné que vous serez probablement en foursome (deux équipes par trou), on vous laisse le libre choix de vous jumeler avec un autre duo pour jouer vos deux rondes.
🌤️ EN APRÈS-MIDI — TOURNOI EN SIMPLE
🕑 Départ SH***UN à 14 h 15
Deux rondes et le meilleur pointage cumulatif l’emporte.
Vous aurez encore une fois le libre choix de vous jumeler avec d’autres joueurs, tout dépendant du nombre d’inscriptions.
🚨 IMPORTANT — PRATIQUE
Une fois que vous aurez complété un trou, VOUS NE POUVEZ PAS REJOUER CE TROU POUR PRATIQUER en attendant que le trou suivant se libère.
Nous vous demandons de respecter les périodes de pratique qui sont établies.

ON VOUS RECOMMANDE D’APPORTER VOS PROPRES PUTTERS!

And the weather is going to be on our side too! ☀️🍂
So, as promised, here are a few reminders, guidelines and details regarding the rules for tournament day!
It’s a long post, but all the details will also be explained before the official start. We’ll also have people spread out around the course to answer your questions and make sure everything runs smoothly and, most importantly, that everyone has a great time!
Let’s start with some good news: CHIPMAKER will be on site and ready to serve you starting at 11 AM! 🤤😋
There are several picnic tables nearby, so it’ll be the perfect opportunity to enjoy a good lunch outside and take advantage of the beautiful fall weather! 🍂
FIRST — PLAYING STYLE
Both tournaments, doubles and singles, will be played in FREE STYLE.
This means you can play the hole however you want, with no restrictions regarding obstacles or side barriers.
To keep the game moving and avoid delays, a maximum of FOUR SHOTS PER PLAYER will be allowed to complete a hole.
A penalty shot will be applied if the ball leaves the course, either by going over a side barrier or if it rolls back past the tee-off area.
⚠️ THE INFAMOUS HOLE #7 — THE RIVER
For our INFAMOUS HOLE #7, THE RIVER, there will be NO PENALTY if the ball hits the back barrier and comes back into the river.
You will simply be allowed to play your second shot by placing the ball “on the other side” of the river and continue playing the hole.
⚠️ This applies ONLY to this specific situation. Regular penalty shots will apply in every other situation.
🌅 MORNING — DOUBLES TOURNAMENT
Two balls — Best Ball
🕙 SH***UN START at 10:15 AM
Two rounds per team.
The lowest cumulative score wins.
You will create your own teams and, since you will most likely be playing in foursomes (two teams per hole), you are free to pair up with another duo for both rounds.
🌤️ AFTERNOON — SINGLES TOURNAMENT
🕑 SH***UN START at 2:15 PM
Two rounds, with the lowest cumulative score winning.
Once again, you will be free to pair up with other players, depending on the number of registrations.
🚨 IMPORTANT — PRACTICE
Once you have completed a hole, YOU MAY NOT REPLAY THAT HOLE FOR PRACTICE while waiting for the next hole to become available.
We ask that everyone respect the designated practice periods.

WE RECOMMEND BRINGING YOUR OWN PUTTERS!
That being said, no worries if you don’t have one — we’ll have everything you need on site. 😉

This is our FIRST TOURNAMENT, both for the players and the organizers.
So, there will most likely be situations that we simply didn’t anticipate!
Please be patient with us and ASK QUESTIONS to any of the Caddies who will be around the course!
