12 hour drive through all 4 seasons! Round robin 3 games in 2 days, playing against Division 1 teams that are 2-3 years older then us. None of that mattered! Boys qualified for the gold medal match! It was a hard fought match that the boys dominated control, possession and shots of, but ended in a heartbreaking 1-0 loss! Our opponents at the end of the game showed us nothing but love and respect and acknowledged how hard the game was. Even the referees approached me afterwards stating the wrong team won gold, but that’s how it goes sometimes! All in all it was an amazing weekend filled with fun, laughter, love and top notch play. So proud of these boys ❤️ as a coach I learned so much from them this past weekend! Can’t wait for our season to begin and represent proudly!
