2026 season is starting soon! We’re hoping we can get on the greens the first week of May, but weather gods may have other thoughts. We did get a small but mighty group out this week to remove the tarps, and the greens look like they survived the winter. Watch for schedule info in the coming weeks. Open House first up on Saturday May 9.

December 3rd is the International Day of Persons with Disabilities. This day is about promoting the rights and well-being of persons with disabilities.

The theme is “Fostering disability‑inclusive societies for advancing social progress,” which underscores the essential role that persons with disabilities play in shaping thriving, equitable communities. BCB has grown as a sport and organization from our bowlers with physical and visual impairments.

We truly believe that Lawn Bowls is a sport for all, for life regardless of abilities.

It truly was a joint all-Edmonton effort that we can be proud of.

Congratulations to the 48 competitors who played in the Provincials Pairs Championship hosted at our Club this weekend. They played through persistent, soaking rain during the opening game on Friday, and then dry but cool conditions the rest of the weekend.
