We finished our season strong with a 2nd place finish at our CEWFL loop tourney, and what a tourney it was…
We lost our first game to Port Perry U19 & had to battle our way back to face them again in the championship game. It was a long road with 7 games in 2 days, 4 of them on the Sunday, one of them coming down to an international tie-breaker, & the girls left everything they had on the diamond. They showed true grit & determination, proving that they are that scrappy team that doesn’t go down without a fight & we couldn’t be more proud of them.
Off the diamond, we celebrated their accomplishments, said goodbye to a beloved coach & even managed to find our team name on a street sign.
Congrats on an amazing season ladies!

It was another amazing weekend of ball! We went 4 & 1 through round robin, placing 1st in our pool & landing us a spot in the semis. We advanced to the finals where we fought hard, earning the 2nd place spot & walked away with another silver medal.
Thanks to Whitby Eagles Softball for hosting a well-run tournament!

On Sunday, April 26th, our team will be taking part in the Nature’s Emporium Run for Southlake, an annual 5k run/walk to raise funds for Southlake hospital.
