Dunnville Cornhole League

The 5th Annual Mudcat Festival Co****le Tournament was held yesterday and we set a new record by raising $2650 for the Dunnville Hospital & Healthcare Foundation. We couldn't have done it without the great community response, whether it be the Dunnville Legion for allowing us to host the event there, the generous local businesses for sponsoring our prize and raffle table or from the 72 participants. Thank you to all of you.

The tournament champions ended up being Theresa and Gary Secord, with second place going to Victoria Todd and Kevin Morris.

The B Bracket was won by John Ellis and Jeff Collings, with John Mattinson and Phillip McCue taking second.

The C Bracket was won by Tim Culp and Kevin Jenkins, with Dave Snider and Derek McComb taking second.

Thank you again to everyone who helped make this event a success.

Just some info regarding the event tomorrow.

The doors open at 10:15 and we start playing at 11am.

Please bring some cash as we will be selling raffle tickets for our prize table which includes Blue Jays tickets, a set of co****le boards, camp chairs, firebowl, golf green fees, plus many more and unfortunately the Legion's ATM is currently out of order.

We appreciate everyone's support in making this event a successful one as all monies raised will be donated to the Dunnville Hospital and Healthcare Foundation.

We had 28 players out for our last night before the summer break. Mike Dilse had the best ppr after the swap and Tim Culp had the best record. Rob MacLeod took home $70 in the 50/50 and Bernie Rienties, Theresa Secord and Rob MacLeod hit one airmail each which were worth $280 a piece.

We had 29 players out last night and Mike Abbs had the best ppr after the swap and Paul Simmonds had the best record. Jim Doleman won $73 on the 50/50 and after Dan Leblanc missed all his attempts at the airmail pipe, Kimmy Spiers hit one of hers for $235.

Ed Timmerman took home $62.50 in the 50/50 and Tim Culp, Brandie Leblanc, Dan Schmidt and Dennis Vermeulen missed all their attempts at the airmail pipe which were worth $232 a bag.
