Girls with Game: A New Tradition Begins! 💙⚾🥎

The 56th Annual World T-Ball Tournament was one for the history books as we hosted the tournament's first-ever All-Girls Division.

Young athletes from Ancaster Little League, High Park Little League, Turtle Club, and a combined Erindale/Dundas Little League team came together for an unforgettable weekend. They competed with heart, built new friendships, and showed everyone that the future of girls' baseball and softball is brighter than ever.

This exciting milestone is a reflection of Little League's Girls with Game initiative, which is creating more opportunities for girls to play, compete, and fall in love with the game.

Thank you to every player, coach and volunteer who helped make this division such a success. Your enthusiasm, sportsmanship, and support made this a memorable weekend for everyone involved.

We look forward to welcoming even more all-girls teams in 2027 as we look to inspire the next generation of girls to step onto the diamond.

Such a lovely collaboration between two Little League organizations. Hopefully more to come!

A huge shout out to all the volunteers who have made this possible and given this group of girls a chance to experience tournament play. What an incredible experience!

Our Girls team wrapped up their 2026 season this past weekend at the Ancaster World T-Ball Tournament, finishing with a strong 2-2 record!

One of their losses came in a thrilling one-run nail-biter, proving just how competitive this group was all weekend long.

We couldn't be prouder of these girls from Erindale and Dundas. They gave everything they had on the field, supported one another every step of the way, and represented both organizations with pride, sportsmanship, and determination.

Congratulations on a fantastic season—we can't wait to see what next year brings! 💙⚾

The Dundas/Erindale Girls Tball Team Represented Erindale Lions Girls at the Erindale Tournament this past weekend.

They lost to High Park Grenadiers 7U and Mahoney Bears 7U and won 32/31 to High Park Diamonds.

They then lost to Mahoney Bears 7U in the 7U Division 2 Championship, but these girls and families have a heart of Gold 💛

They have practiced twice all together as a team and had their first game at the Erindale Tournament.

They're really gelling together as a team and we are so proud of them!

The Dundas/Erindale Girls Team will be Representing Dundas Tigers Girls at the Ancaster T-ball Tournament - Girls Division on the August long weekend. Good luck girls!

Another day, another rainout. After several unsuccessful attempts to convince Mother Nature to take a day off, baseball has been cancelled once again. We would like to thank the rain for its continued commitment to leading the league in appearances this season.

Sadly, the City has closed all of our fields today due to the heavy rains we received overnight. All baseball has been cancelled for Wednesday, June 10th, 2026.

Dundas Major Black capture the Dundas Little League Spring Fling Tournament Championship; Dundas Major Gold Reaches Consolation Final

It was a tremendous weekend for Dundas baseball as both Dundas Major teams delivered outstanding performances in a competitive 10-team tournament.

The Dundas Major Black All-Stars emerged as tournament champions, defeating the Ancaster Diamondbacks in the championship game to claim the title. The team showcased complete baseball throughout the weekend, combining dominant pitching, stellar defensive play, and explosive offense.

At the plate, Dundas Black was unstoppable, launching an impressive seven home runs over the course of the tournament. Timely hitting, aggressive baserunning, and consistent offensive pressure helped power the team to the championship.

The pitching staff was equally impressive, throwing strikes, limiting scoring opportunities, and delivering clutch performances in key moments. Defensively, Dundas Black played outstanding baseball, making the routine plays and several game-changing defensive stops when it mattered most.

Dundas Major Gold also enjoyed a strong tournament, advancing all the way to the Consolation Final before falling to the Oakville Whitecaps. Gold battled hard throughout the weekend and demonstrated tremendous determination, skill, and teamwork against a strong field of opponents.

Combined, the two Dundas teams recorded eight tournament victories, a remarkable achievement and a testament to the talent, dedication, and hard work of the players and coaches.

Congratulations to both teams on a fantastic weekend representing Dundas baseball. The future is bright, and this tournament was another example of the strength and depth of our players.

Special thanks to the tournament director and the volunteers that worked hard to make our tournament a huge success.

In today’s fast-paced world, giving children the tools to slow down, breathe, move, and connect with themselves is one of the greatest gifts we can offer.
Yoga for kids can help improve:

Confidence and emotional regulation
Breathing and relaxation skills
Strength, balance, and posture
Mind-body awareness and resilience
We are so excited to be able to continue to offer our FREE 'Yoga for Kids' classes at Dundas Town Hall (second floor), recommencing THIS Saturday, May 30th at 11:30 AM!

No experience necessary
Please bring a yoga mat and comfortable clothes for movement
Parents are welcome to participate in the class or observe comfortably from the side.

For liability reasons, all participants must be registered online under the child’s name using the provided registration link prior to class. Space is limited, so reserve your spot quickly!

Despite the sunshine and the double digits today, baseball is cancelled this evening, May 25th 2026. The City has closed the fields due to all the rain that fell over the weekend.
