Dundas Major Black capture the Dundas Little League Spring Fling Tournament Championship; Dundas Major Gold Reaches Consolation Final

It was a tremendous weekend for Dundas baseball as both Dundas Major teams delivered outstanding performances in a competitive 10-team tournament.

The Dundas Major Black All-Stars emerged as tournament champions, defeating the Ancaster Diamondbacks in the championship game to claim the title. The team showcased complete baseball throughout the weekend, combining dominant pitching, stellar defensive play, and explosive offense.

At the plate, Dundas Black was unstoppable, launching an impressive seven home runs over the course of the tournament. Timely hitting, aggressive baserunning, and consistent offensive pressure helped power the team to the championship.

The pitching staff was equally impressive, throwing strikes, limiting scoring opportunities, and delivering clutch performances in key moments. Defensively, Dundas Black played outstanding baseball, making the routine plays and several game-changing defensive stops when it mattered most.

Dundas Major Gold also enjoyed a strong tournament, advancing all the way to the Consolation Final before falling to the Oakville Whitecaps. Gold battled hard throughout the weekend and demonstrated tremendous determination, skill, and teamwork against a strong field of opponents.

Combined, the two Dundas teams recorded eight tournament victories, a remarkable achievement and a testament to the talent, dedication, and hard work of the players and coaches.

Congratulations to both teams on a fantastic weekend representing Dundas baseball. The future is bright, and this tournament was another example of the strength and depth of our players.

Special thanks to the tournament director and the volunteers that worked hard to make our tournament a huge success.

In today’s fast-paced world, giving children the tools to slow down, breathe, move, and connect with themselves is one of the greatest gifts we can offer.
Yoga for kids can help improve:

Strength, balance, and posture
Mind-body awareness and resilience
We are so excited to be able to continue to offer our FREE 'Yoga for Kids' classes at Dundas Town Hall (second floor), recommencing THIS Saturday, May 30th at 11:30 AM!

No experience necessary
Please bring a yoga mat and comfortable clothes for movement
Parents are welcome to participate in the class or observe comfortably from the side.

For liability reasons, all participants must be registered online under the child’s name using the provided registration link prior to class. Space is limited, so reserve your spot quickly!

Good morning Dundas Little League families,

The Dundas Blues would like to invite all Dundas Little League players, families, and volunteers to DLL Night with the Blues on Thursday, January 29th, as we take on the Glanbrook Rangers at the J.L. Grightmire Arena.

This will be a special night dedicated to celebrating and promoting Dundas Little League, and we’d love to see the stands filled with DLL jerseys and supporters.

Here’s what to expect:

🟡 FREE admission for all Dundas Little League members wearing their DLL jersey

🔵 Blues door prizes throughout the night

⚾ An exclusive intermission game for Dundas Little League members who wish to participate

Puck drop is at 7:30 PM, and it’s shaping up to be a great night of hockey, fun, and community spirit.

We hope you can join us as we celebrate Dundas Little League and enjoy a great night at the rink together.

Off-Season Training Opportunities Are Here!

As we head into the winter months, many of our players are eager to keep developing their baseball skills ahead of next season. We’re excited to offer off-season training sessions for any players interested in improving their strength, conditioning, and overall baseball skills.

These sessions are completely optional, but they’re a great way for players to stay active, build confidence, and sharpen their fundamentals. Whether your child wants to work on hitting, pitching, or fielding, this program provides valuable skill-building opportunities in a supportive environment.

Program Details:

Location: Dundas Valley Secondary School – East Gym
Day & Time: Sundays from 5:30-7pm, starting January 11 to April 19, 2026
Cost: $225
Ages: 5–12 years (open skills session for all age groups)
