🚨 Exciting News from the Ontario Curling Council! 🚨

We are thrilled to announce the expansion of our Academy Team Project for the 2025/26 season! 🥌 This initiative aims to provide U18 players an alternative pathway into competitive curling through coach-led, regionally based training during the Train to Train and Train to Compete stages of development.

🌟 New Locations:
In addition to our home at Dundas Valley Golf and Curling Club, we’re excited to include the Richmond Hill Curling Club as a second host! Both centres will run teams for the upcoming season.

🗓️ Tryout Dates:

Dundas Valley: To be determined
Richmond Hill: March 8, 2025

🚨 Interested in Coaching?
We're also welcoming applications for certified coaches to join our project! Coaches must be located within a reasonable distance from the training centres.

Thanks for an amazing weekend, Marc Kennedy Junior Classic!

What an incredible weekend!! We headed west to the Marc Kennedy Junior Classic in Edmonton for our last big event of the season. We went undefeated in round-robin play, lost a nailbiter in the quarterfinals, gained lots of valuable experience, and had so much fun!

Huge thank you to Marc and Nicole Kennedy and all the volunteers for this amazing event and for making us feel so welcome. Thank you to St. Albert Curling Club, Crestwood Curling Centre and Sherwood Park Curling Club for hosting. Thanks also to Ontario Curling Council, our sponsors, coaches, parents and supporters for making this possible for us!

Wonderful news…our very own Sophia Barbosa along with partner William Jewell (Team MacDougall Curling) have qualified as Canada 1 in the Junior Slam Series Mixed Doubles event and will now travel to Sweden! Congrats!!!

Our Mixed Doubles teams had an amazing time at the Ontario Winter Games in Thunder Bay this past weekend. Congratulations to all the champions, including our very own Sophia and Jordan who brought home the silver medal!
