REMEMBERING RICKY RESIJAN
It is with a heavy heart that we share with you the sad news about the passing of our dear friend Ricky Resijan on February 9th, 2021 in Hamilton.
Ricky has forever been a part of our Hamilton City Ballet family and of Hamilton Academy of Performing Arts. For almost 20 years he has performed in each of our year end ballets as leading dancer. On stage, Ricky captivated his audiences with his artistic presence, elegance, strength and pure love of dance. In person, Ricky brought joy and laughter to everyone who crossed his path. He was always gracious, kind, generous, and helpful to the people around him. He loved his family, he loved to teach, he loved life. Ricky recently received his Doctorate Degree of Education from D'Youville University. He worked very hard for it, we were so proud of all his academic & artistic achievements.
We are sending our most sincere condolences to Mrs. Ljubica Resijan, his mother, and to his whole family. May care and love of those around you provide comfort and peace to get you through the days ahead. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.
Ricky, you left us too soon. We will miss you greatly. All those years of wonderful memories will be cherished in our hearts forever. It gives us comfort to see your photographs all over the school, we will feel your presence with us always, and maybe, hear your bursts of laughter between the silence and the piano music in class.
Rest in Peace dear Ricky. We love you very much... ❤️
