Meet Our Staff: Kris “Moose” Mousseau 🫎 A familiar face around Cowichan Golf Club, Kris has been part of our team since 2015 and continues to be a big part of creating a great experience for our members and guests.

Born and raised in the Cowichan Valley, Kris played NCAA Division II lacrosse in the U.S. before earning his Bachelor of Education from Vancouver Island University. His passion for golf brought him back to the game, where he’s continued to grow under the mentorship of Storm while working toward his Canadian PGA Class “A” accreditation.

Whether he’s helping in the Pro Shop, out on the course, or sharing his knowledge of the game, Kris is always happy to lend a hand and welcome golfers with a smile.

Another unforgettable Cowichan Ladies Open! ⛳️💙

From great shots and friendly competition to plenty of smiles along the way, it was a fantastic day celebrating women’s golf at Cowichan Golf Club.

🏆 Congratulations to Cowichan Golf Club member Karen Kloske, the 2026 Cowichan Ladies Open Champion!

Karen carded a 79 to finish tied with Alyssa Herkel forcing a sudden-death playoff. After one exciting playoff hole, Karen came through with the win to successfully defend her Cowichan Ladies Open title.

What a fantastic 2026 Cowichan Ladies Open! ⛳️💙

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who came out to play, support, volunteer, and help make this year’s event such a success. From the incredible golf to Norm Jackson spending the day as our guest caddie, the friendships, laughter, and sportsmanship shared throughout the tournament made it a wonderful celebration of the game.

Congratulations to all of our competitors, and thank you for being part of another memorable Cowichan Ladies Open. We look forward to welcoming you back next year!
