A countdown and a loud blowhorn will signal you to start heading downhill to the first turn. Participants keep left on Cobble Hill Road to Wilkinson for a short out and back returning to Cobble Hill Road, crossing to the left side of the road to Nightingale, left to Boyles, left to Chapman, left to Cobble Hill, right on Cobble Hill keeping to the right side of the road to the turnaround before Watson. Cross Cobble Hill Road, keeping right for a 3.5k downhill run to the finish. A slight climb at the finish. The finish line is inside the George Bonner School grounds. There are route maps on the Island Series website. There is one water stop on the race route at Cobble Hill and Chapman (5.4K). *Participants have full use of the road with the Nightingale
