Was your resolution to learn to play Guitar? 🎸
🎼Beginner/Intermediate Guitar 🎼
This course will focus on learning the common first position chords with the goal of playing a simple song to start. We will look at some basic theory as it pertains to understanding key signatures and the relevance of what chords go together in songs. Intermediate studies will focus on more advanced theory and some cool tricks on how to spice up your playing. Please bring a playable guitar.

Last night it was reported that Elder College through VIU will no longer be supported after 2023. We want to make it very clear that CVRD Lifelong Learners (formerly named Elder College) is not affiliated with the VIU Elder College program, and our programming through the Cowichan Community Centre will continue as planned. 📚
We are currently planning for the Winter / Spring 2024 season (January to June), so please email [email protected] if you are interested in becoming an instructor or presenter!
