Full house at the Championship games/Windup last night. The A side winners are Matthew Christiuk‘s rink of Ryan Gawronsky along with Mathew and Vanessa McGregor.
The B side was won by Krystal Pelepiuk’s team of Russ Pelepiuk, Alex and Myles Manchulenko.
Grand Aggregate Champs for this year are Dom Chartier’s rink of Francois Lambert, Rheo and Roxanne Gosselin. They were undefeated in the regular season. Kingsley won the 50/50 draw.
We had 12 teams in the league this year which made a perfect draw. Thanks for everyone’s patience on 2 ice plant malfunctions in which the first one we lost all the ice due to the warm weather. A lot of extra work for the ice crew to get things up and running again. If it was any consolation the ice was fantastic. Nice and keen with some good curl which made for some close entertaining games.
Thank you to all participants and rentals and hope to see everyone next year.
This facility is still existing because of all the countless hours from board members and volunteers.

Huge thanks to the Village Connection Thrift Store for their continued support of the Dufrost Curling Club. It is the support of the community that allows us to keep our facility open and it is greatly appreciated.

Just a quick update on the ice plant. Parts just came in and a tech will install and get the plant running sometimes tomorrow. Flooding will start a few hours later. What this all means is that there will be no curling till hopefully next Thursday January 4th. Stay in shape and hoping for curlers to find draw weight late next week. Sorry for the inconvenience curlers.

The curling season begins tomorrow! First games are posted and the rest of the schedule will be at the rink or notify your skip. The ice is very nice this year with reverse osmosis water flooded all the way through. With 2 full draws this year the time bell will be implemented to prevent the 9pm games from starting late. Enjoy the season.
