- The junior girls volleyball team will be practicing today at 3:30

- Hi-Flyer forms can be dropped off at the office, along with any student supply payments for student in Kindergarten to Grade 9

- Today is the final day for the DCS Wildcat Shopping Mall, located in the main hallway, conveniently across from the washrooms! Friends, fellow shoppers and Wildcat enthusiasts – all of these items belong to someone, so please take a careful look before they items are gone for good!!

- The Sun West School Division is hosting a Creater Conference on Tuesday, September 22nd in Rosetown. Check out the posters in your classroom or speak with Mr. Drury if you are interested.

- There will be a brief Jr. boys meeting in Mrs. Billett’s room in between 2nd and 3rd period this morning.

- WELCOME to our newest Wildcats - we have 5 little ones joining the Wildcat family and we couldn't be happier!! Be sure to give them a big WILDCAT welcome when you see them in the hallways!

Morning Announcements - Wednesday, September 2nd, 2026

- Welcome back everyone! It's so great to see everyone's smiling face after a recharging summer break!

- The Junior girls' volleyball team will be practicing in the gym after school today and Friday at 3:30!!

- If you are interested in being on the DCS golf team please talk to Mr. Morrison

- Please sign up for Jr. Boys’ volleyball and XC with Mrs. Billett

-There will be a Sr. Boys Volleyball meeting at lunch in the DLC Lab.

-There will be a Pep Rally tomorrow during Period 5 to welcome our new students and play some fun games. Remember to wear your team colours. If you are unsure what your colour is, your homeroom teacher will have a copy!

-There will be a Breakfast Club meeting tomorrow at 12:05 in the library. Remember to bring your lunch. If there are any Grade 6 students that would like to join the Breakfast club, please come to the meeting tomorrow.

-A warm WILDCAT welcome to a our new students and staff - we are so happy to have you here! In the building today we have Mrs. Berezowski, travelling all the way from the bright lights of Rosetown, who is covering for Mrs. Atkinson until she returns ... and tomorrow we will have Mr. Genereux, who will be teaching PAA to our Grade 7-10 students.

Twenty Sun West School Division students, selected by their schools, spent a week in the Rocky Mountains in Alberta this July attending the Facilitating Awareness and Character-building Experiences for Students (FACES) Education Program, where they developed leadership skills, built confidence, and formed new friendships.
