FFA would like to congratulate Fast Forward Athletes- Alejandro Angeli and Chris Burke on their solid finishes at the 2014 Hypothermic Half Marathon, Moncton. Alejandro ran 1:31.10 for a 4th place overall finish at the "ripe old age" of 17! And Chris smashed his personal best with a 1:49.50! Thanks also to the Running Room's own Kim Buck for encouraging Chris the entire way!

Congratulations to FFA Athlete- Eric Lemay of Bouctouche, NB for the successful completion of his first ever Triathlon this past weekend! Eric finished the Sprint Tri Event in a time of 1:21.26, which placed him 9th in his Category!

Michelle Chenard has done it again! Congratulations is due, as she has successfully completed her 2nd Ironman event in Mont Tremblant this past weekend in a time of 16:36.52!

Michelle, who is originally from New Brunswick, now resides in Yellowknife, NWT, where she spends the dark days of winter as a teacher and her "down time" as a super athlete!

Congratulations to Fast Forward Athlete- Chris Burke, on his first ever Ironman finish at Mont Tremblant! Chris conquered his very busy work and travel schedule to successfully finish the event in 15:33.08! This was his first Ironman, but intuition tells us it will not be his last!

Congratulations to Fast Forward Athlete- Sarah Westfield on her outstanding performance at Ironman Mont Tremblant! She finished 6th in her Category, narrowly missing a qualification spot for the Hawaii Ironman World Championships in Kona. Sarah finished with a time of 11:34.14.

What's even more impressive, is Sarah is an RN who works night shifts and has relocated her residence from Moncton to Vancouver to Montreal during her buildup to Mont Tremblant! Talk about dedication!

A huge congratulations is due for Fast Forward Athlete- Natalie Cormier who managed a stellar ride to finish 13th overall in Individual Time Trial at the 2013 Canada Games in Sherbrooke, Quebec! She blazed the 15.6km course in a time of 24:15 to finish as the top female athlete from Atlantic Canada!

Natalie had been cycling for just over one year and has made huge strides this season. She has two more events at the Canada Games to come, the Road Race and the Criterium!

Fast Forward Athletics would like to congratulate Sarah Westfield on her awesome performance at the Subaru Vancouver Half Iron Triathlon! She finished in a blistering time of 5:16.02 which placed her 9th in her category and was a personal record of over 14 minutes! The Vancouver Half Iron was a preparation race for next months Ironman Mt. Tremblant!

Fast Forward Athletics would like to congratulate all of the FFA Athletes that successfully completed the Ironman 70.3 Mt. Tremblant yesterday!

Natalie Arsenault- finished with a time of 6:15.35, she stayed very composed and strong, despite a day filled with bike mechanical problems, capped off by a blistering run time of 1:46!

Stephane Boudreau- finished in a time of 4:44.15, which was good enough for 13th in his Category and 93rd overall!

Chris Burke- finished in a time of 7:24.07, he used the race as a dry run for the full distance Ironman in August! For Chris, this is just the beginning of a long journey ahead!

Marilou Laforest- completed the distance in 5:44.34, an amazing time, especially considering this was her first ever 70.3 Ironman!

Pierre Laforest- had an outstanding performance, completing the race in 4:57.56, which earned him a spot at the Las Vegas Ironman 70.3 World Championships!!!

Serge Noel- had an incredible race, finishing in a time of 5:07.18, shaving 30 minutes off of his overall time from 2012!!

Joanne St-Pierre- executed a near perfect race, finishing in a time of 6:04.35, which placed her 57th in her category!!!
