⛸️ National Ice Dance Initiative (NIDI) – PEI Coach Seminar
Skate PEI is pleased to host the National Ice Dance Initiative (NIDI) 2026–2027 Coach Development Seminar on Saturday, September 19, 2026, at Cavendish Farms Community Events Centre in Tyne Valley.
This free coach development seminar is offered by Skate Canada in partnership with Skate PEI and will be presented by Paul MacIntosh and Ashlynne Stairs.
Coaches will take part in both classroom/off-ice learning and on-ice sessions, with a focus on:
✅ Ice dance
✅ Pattern dances
✅ Solo dance pathways
✅ Foundational skating skills for all disciplines
📅 Date: Saturday, September 19, 2026
⏰ Time: 8:15 AM – 3:15 PM
📍 Location: Cavendish Farms Community Events Centre, Tyne Valley
💲 Cost: Free of charge
This seminar is intended for registered Skate Canada coaches in good standing who hold NCCP Regional Coach In-Training status or higher.
CanSkate Coaches may also submit a registration request and may be considered if space allows.
Coaches from all disciplines are welcome, and no previous ice dance experience is required.
Please bring your skates and be prepared to participate on the ice. ⛸️
