The Greater Moncton Cricket Association is excited to share that the Leblanc Dragons are CHAMPIONS of the Moncton United Sports Club Indoor Cricket Tournament 🏆

The team named after one of our primary sponsors Andre LeBlanc won the tournament second year in a row with amazing performances leading up to the Championship 🤩🙌🍻

Raksh*t Sharma was awarded the MVP and the team won a cool $500 in the process 💵

Well ‼️ It was a stunning night celebrating performances ✨ at the Greater Moncton Cricket Association annual Gala. With Families, food, awards and laughter around, the Gala couldn’t have got any better 🤩

A bitter pill to swallow when you end up as the Runners up in the NB Cricket Association T40 league, But it ended up being a memorable finale for the Dieppe Cricket Club 😇

Deciding to chase, Gladiators Cricket Club put on a mammoth 269 in their allotted overs. Afzal and Ravi Dodiya picked up 2 a piece. A sea saw battle eventually turned out to be a little too much to handle 🙌🏼

Shashank displayed his usual calm demeanour notching up 40 but there were 2 people who truly deserved some adulation.
Jayvir and Het with 68 and 66 respectively produced 2 incredible innings filled with stunning hits to the fence. Both the innings filled with power hitting brought the game within touching distance but eventually fell short by 37 runs

We play Cricket for passion ‼️
We play Cricket to build relationships ‼️

And then there comes along a match which creates memories‼️

The Semi final between Dieppe Cricket Club and Devils X1 in the NB Cricket Association produced a match for the ages

Put into bowl first, Srikanth picked up 4 crucial wickets backed up by Nithin’s 3 wickets to restrict Devils to 253 in their allotted 40 overs☄️

Needing fireworks at the top🎆 Ravi and Afzal gave blistering starts to set up the game with Nitesh coming in to contribute significantly at No 3. Shashank being the constant in squad produced a Superb 53 to anchor the chase💪🏼

Jayvir pulled out a rabbit from the hat to produce a season defining 67 to take DCC home with 11 balls to spare 🤯🙌🏼 A mindblowing performance for the ages 🔥

DCC would also like to recognize DevilX1’s outstanding performance in the semi final 🤝
