LADIES NIGHT UPDATE AT DGC ⛳️⛳️⛳️
After last nights board meeting it has been decided that there will be NO organized ladies league going forward.
Unfortunately there isn’t anyone who’s committed to being there every Thursday for the season. Also, we do not seem to pull enough women in on a Thursday night (Avg. 14-20) for the golf course to close down for us to have a shotgun start. We already have men’s nights Mondays, Tuesday morning ladies, Wednesday seniors and our Junior golfers are getting geared up for lessons/play on Thursdays during July/August.
This DOES NOT mean you can’t still come up and golf with your girlfriends on Thursdays!!! You will be responsible to book yourself a tee time either by calling the pro shop or by using the tee-on app! For now, we will be blocking off Thursday tee times between 5:30-6:30 if you’d still like to come and play! Again, you will be RESPONSIBLE to book a tee time before NOON on Thursdays. After that we will open up the times for regular tee timers to come out and enjoy the course!
In order for there to be a ladies league in the future, we need a coordinator who is dedicated, able to engage with every lady who shows up, can grow the league with new members and is willing to join the DGC Board as a director. Also, to have a shotgun start we need to consistently have 24+ ladies on Thursday evenings.
