PLEASE READ!!

In the months prior to Sam coming on as our administrator, the Devon Soccer Association was struggling to get by and the executive had discussed the possibility of dissolution. But Sam, with his energy and passion for the sport, brought the association back to life. Hired to manage one season of soccer; he voluntarily added a winter/indoor season and coached it himself. He has contributed SO MUCH to our little association. But now he needs our help.

In August his house burnt down. Thankfully he and his fiancé were unharmed, but he lost almost everything he owns. In the coming weeks and months they will start to feel the financial toll of having to replace furniture, electronics, clothes, winter gear etc. To lighten the load, we have created a "meal train” (link below) where people can donate gift cards to grocery, hardware or electronics stores, and of course restaurants. If you’d prefer to send an e-transfer or give cash, let us know and we can share how to do that.

Sam and Danielle have recently lost their home in a fire. While they are sorting things out let's come together and help take care of them!

Devon Soccer will be at the Devon Community Awareness Night on September 10. We will have photos for those that missed the opportunity to pick them up in July.
